A Gem of a Time at Seven Devils Taphouse
If there's a place that perfectly encapsulates the fun and spirit of a ski resort, it's the Seven Devils Taphouse at Tamarak Resort. This isn't just a bar; it's an experience, thanks to its unique "pay by the oz" service for both beer and wine, which was absolutely brilliant. Being able to sample a variety of brews and vinos without committing to a full glass each time made the evening all the more enjoyable.
Ordering food here was both fast and fun, thanks to their automated system. It felt modern and efficient, and I loved that, despite the tech, they still brought the food right to our table, adding a personal touch to the service. The food itself? Simply delicious. The tacos and fries were my go-to, and they did not disappoint—flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and just what you need after a day on the slopes.
But what truly set Seven Devils apart were the karaoke nights. They're a blast, offering both a chance to unwind and a platform to showcase your hidden singing talents (or just cheer others on). The atmosphere during these nights is electric, filled with laughter and cheer.
I can't speak highly enough about the staff—friendly, professional, and always on hand to ensure you're having a great time. It's this combination of fantastic service, delicious food, and a lively atmosphere that makes Seven Devils Taphouse a must-visit.
In short, whether you're here to enjoy the innovative "pay by the oz" drinks, indulge in some tasty food, or just soak up the lively ambiance, Seven Devils Taphouse delivers. An absolute highlight of my stay at...
Read moreInteresting ordering system. It's all self serve with very little instructions on what to do. Small hand written sign on the side entrance talks about a "devil card" but any new customer won't know what that is and why they need one. I agree with other reviews, lots of pressure to tip when it's all self serve. Greedy AF.
Step 1: talk to hostess to obtain a QR code ticket that is tied to your credit card. Step 2: scan QR code at beer tap wall or food ordering kiosk to purchase stuff. It totals up on your account. Step 3: close out your QR ticket by using the self self kiosk by upstairs front door when you are done eating and drinking.
They also have return boxes for QR tickets labeled with tip % from like 10% to 20%. If you don't close out your ticket and forget they apparently charge you 18% gratuity (read back of card).
Food: actually fairly decent, little expensive which isn't surprising for a ski lodge. The Belial sandwich is pretty good, Hot Motha Clucker chicken sandwich is great too. Awesome frozen waffle fries. Their ribs were very average.
My first rib order was served semi cold. I had to find someone to take it back and I basically walked up to the counter the cook puts completed food orders on. These 2 young ladies didn't speak much English. I broke out the Google translate app to ask the cook for more heated ribs. They eventually remade them and they did come out hot. But again, average ribs. Not the most tender or moist but definitely edible after a...
Read morePossibly the worst experience I’ve Had at tamarack was at this establishment. This is the first time I’ve ever reviewed a place because it was that bad. First, me and my family (3children 1 grandparent) found seeting after waiting at the host booth for around 5 minutes and being told by a busser that we can sit wherever. We take a seat outside and enjoy the sun for 25 minutes without be approached by anyone. I go inside to ask if they are doing food service outside because we hadn’t actually seen an employee. They said yes and so I went out and waited another 15 minutes. I went back inside to inquire and they said a waitress was working on it. Fair, but we were hungry and would love at least some water. After another ten I asked to speak with the manager. This 24 yr old piece of work would not give me his name but certainly showed his irritation of having to do his Job. After words, we left and then got to talk to security. Quite the experience, would not recommend, and I hope the owners are relishing in their absence and inability to...
