Extremely disappointed. Waking in I was impressed to see how well done the place looked my boyfriend and I sat at a the middle booth table. I ordered the lasagna dinner. Sadly, when I received my dish it was cold to the touch in the middle. My parents owning a restaurant I understood that these things happen and sent it back to be reheated. After receiving my dish the second time I dug in but after the first bit I was completely turned off as I could then smell that the lasagna was spoiled. I wanted to make sure no other customers became sick from eating it so I informed the waitress and had her smell it and she agreed it smelt off. When the waitress brought back the lasagna to the cook, he exclaimed from the kitchen, “first she sent it back because it was cold and now she sent it back because it smelly bad? I made this lasagna on Monday, it’s good.” We heard him say this and we were sitting at our table. I reminded my boyfriend that it is Sunday late afternoon, and that the lasagna is now 7 days old. Read more(Review is for the Eatery) We were excited to have dinner at the Two Gingers Eatery after hearing that they had some new menu items. The food was good, but the service was unfortunately poor. The waitresses were texting on their phones and chatting up a table of their friends instead of serving or checking on their other tables. They never refilled our waters, didn’t bring us all of our silverware, didn’t place our appetizer order, and gave us the wrong check. A large table seated near us waited so long that they decided to leave before placing their order. Again, the food was decent!! We could see the cooks in the kitchen and they were working really hard and doing a great job. We especially enjoyed the Patty Melt. Next time we may just get takeout instead...
Read moreThis is that local bar that "serves food also." We didn't try their pizza, but had the sandwiches, burgers and chicken tenders (for the kids). All the food was higher priced for the quality... Which seemed like it was straight off the Schwann's truck. DO NOT throw your money at their garlic parm fries. It's a waste. There are no kid's portions, so be ready to order an adult meal for your little ones (unless you're getting pizza).
The drinks, on the other hand, were great. This is why I say this place is a bar that "serves food also." For the overall value, I'll spend my money on food and drinks a few doors...
