Moxie’s Supper Club — Restaurant in Casco

Our friend suggested we try out Moxies. Seemed more like a bar than a supperclub. The bartenders were very nice. The old fashioneds were good with the cherries. Got menus, very limited for a supperclub. I ordered the scallops, with twice baked potato, and a salad. Husband ordered the Moxie combo, 1 piece of chicken, 1 pork chop, and 1 rib with a twice baked potato, and salad. The bartender let us know our table was ready. We decided to order another drink and take our time to get to our table, (as we would normally do at a supperclub). The waitress came back out 3-5 minutes later to see if we know our table was ready. We said yes, we know. She seemed kinda upset we didn't go back to our table yet. We grabbed our drinks and made our way to our table. Everything was already at the table. They don't bring out your salad and then entree. Everything is ready at the table. The salads were good, like any other salad. The twice baked potatoes were the best I've had. None of the fake instant stuff, you could eat the skin. The combo plate was very dry. The pork chop was more like a cutlet and not a chop. I ordered the scallops and they were deep fried and soggy, maybe because we didn't go to our table right away. I wish they would have saut'eed. We ordered a 1/2 chicken to bring home, that was juicier than the stuff on our plate. It was supposed have mashed potatoes with gravy and stuffing, there was no stuffing. I'm not going to say I wouldn't reccomend going here because everyone has their own taste. Give them a try and see what you think...

Friday evening Fish Dinner with friends. Enjoyed a Perfect Brandy O.F. twin cherry 🍒 are awesome to get the evening going. Relocated to Dining room for our meal. The Walleye was hot & crispy good. Perfectly prepared...along with the German potato salad. Had to be made by a expert because it Was just heaven. I could have made a meal with just that salad. Thanks for having it available. Plus a green salad 🥗 before the fish appeared. Ample seating, great conversation with our friends. Even the wait staff & bar tender smiled. You must enjoy treating me and thanks for making our evening a fun...

First I would like to say that if you aren't a local, keep driving. When you walk in every body stares at you and doesn't say a word. If you want to get service it will take about 10 mins for a waitress or bussers to even acknowledge you. Then when you finally get their attention for help they come over so annoyed and treat you like you are wasting their time.
