Here is thing. If you want really good food this is the place. If you want really good Mexican food. Perhaps you'll have better luck somewhere else. I will say that perhaps their nachos are their best thing in the menu. Best I've ever had. Staff was wonderful, however after being there for a while, you can tell that there is a lack of communication or just plain disorganization. After placing our order, we didnt get our drinks till after our food had arrived. Then the tacos we order, I had very few meat in it. Which is not what you expect from a taco that cost 4.50. Not to say that it wasn't good. They were good. But a taco should have more meat and a double tortilla, especially for 4.50. Our total come to 100 for 6 people. Which is fine, we did order a few extra dishes. But at the end of the day, I don't think I will be coming back here again next time I'm in the area.

We stopped for a late breakfast after checking out at lake chelan. I ordered 2 chicken tacos, my husband a sopa and veggie burrito, kids just ate fries. The chicken itself lacked in flavor. I read a review that said it was canned chicken and I've never eaten canned but I have to say, it did taste kinda like tuna. Still definitely edible thou. Then I ordered 1 steak taco. It was MUCH BETTER. Tasted like real meat at least. The corn Tortillas are homemade and they were really delicious! My husband enjoyed the sopa very much and said the burrito was decent. The kids cleaned their plates of every fry. I did try the fries.. they are very crunchy, crispy and fresh. The outside seating is cute but they had no shade protection so we ended up moving in to eat. Overall (besides the chicken) this is a perfect 'fast food' pit stop on the way to or from Lake Chelan.

This is a locals place and it took us a few minutes to figure out everything. But the people are nice and speak both English and Spanish natively. There are two parts to the menu, the "standard" Mexican stuff is listed behind the counter and the more fancy dishes have pictures, names and prices over the windows between the door and the counter. You order at the counter, pay and they bring the food to the table along with a green salsa. Both my wife and I ordered the more fancy dishes. She ordered the Tamales Poblanos, which was very good. I had the Red Mole Enchiladas and also found it very good. We would come back, there are many more choices we would try.

I've been coming here for years and I have always loved the food and don't get me wrong the food is still good. The restaurant is under new ownership and they have remodeled the inside and built an outdoor patio which is nice. But unfortunately they are way overpriced. At around $4.50 for a single taco. I bought 8 tacos the other week and they put 4 tacos in one box and the other 4 in another with salsa and limes for both. This week they crammed all 8 tacos in one box reducing the meat in them to stuff them into the boxes and now only getting a single serving of limes and salsa. The original owners before also did taco Mondays for half priced tacos but the new owners don't offer that. The last few times I've been in there there has been no one else when this place used to be packed. Unfortunately the price is just not worth it when there is a taco truck right down the road that serves really good tacos for half the price and blue agave restaurant in downtown cashmere. I would like to keep going but can't justify spending 40 dollars for a single meal of tacos. The place is well kept and looks great though so I'll give them...

So mediocre that 2 backpackers coming out of the woods from a mulit-day excursion in the Enchantments would pass on this place next time. I would have been much happier if we had just gone to Taco Bell (seriously). Not only was it expensive and sub-par, but I had to pay and additional $3.50 for chips and salsa (quite unheard of at Mexican restaurants) but when the chips were brought out to the table (having to ask for them after paying at the counter) they were white corn tortilla strips from Costco (they should be ashamed of themselves and have their title of Mexican cuisine stripped from any associations). I was very disappointing to say the least. Not sure why this place gets good reviews when they cannot even meet the low bar of being as good or better than Azteca. What a crying shame! I spent over $16 for a burrito, coke and chips and salsa only to have to force myself to eat a meal that I was looking with great expectation towards after spending many days in the woods eating freeze dried meals. I give them 1 star only because it was not...
