The Outpost Saloon — Restaurant in Washington

To start out it was empty inside and I thought it was a restaurant because it said “Steak and Burger” on the sign above the building on the outside and I apparently was so wrong when they I was sitting inside for 10 whole mins before they came to the table and asked us for our drink order and my 13 yr old sons ID. Only one pool table in there and an old crowd, so I guess that passes them as a saloon. They missed out on the money of us general audience of $300 and I know a lot of people In the area that were willing to try them out so thousands of dollars are gone because I will tell of the people who have families that it is ani-Familia . If only they Had the decency to post something outside the building that says saloon or 21 and above only so us people who are looking for a good place to eat can not go all the way across town to get turned down. Ended up going to a nice place called Agave Azul and eating the best food and having the best drinks without...

Update: We typically eat here whenever we are in town. The food is good and plentiful. Usually the service is great because the owner is there. Today not so much. The waitress was more interested in her phone than the couple of tables having breakfast. We tip'd accordingly and hope for better next time.

We've been thrilled with our experiences at this casual, kid-free bar and restaurant. The steak dinners are the best deal in town and perfectly cooked every time. The staff is always glad to see you, and are fun, friendly, and attentive. The drinks are great, it's clean, and you don't have to yell over the music to chat with your friends. It's a great mix of regulars and passersby and an easy place to spend an evening....
