Nice, clean place. Pleasant atmosphere. Very friendly and efficient service. I ordered the tenderloin with sweet potato fries. The fries were good. They tasted like they were cooked in fresh, clean oil. The salad bar was great. You don't see many salad bars that offer much besides some lettuce, cottage cheese and dressings. This one had a LOT to offer as well as soup and bread. You certainly will not leave hungry.

The steak though... It was cooked to the correct temperature and was a very tender, potentially delicious steak except for two big fails.

It was butterflied. There is no reason to butterfly a medium rare tenderloin steak. And it seems to have been butterflied in the wrong direction (with the grain) making it difficult to cut. It was more like tearing.

They used some kind of bad tasting seasoning that really just overpowered the beef. Like I said, it was a GOOD steak, but next time I'll order it without the seasoning. In my opinion the cook ruined a great piece of meat.

I will go here again. I have already recommended it to pretty much everyone I talk to and will continue to...

I am a soldier who has eaten steak across the country and never had one as good as at this eatery. The pizza is a regular for when it is supper time and nothing has been made. If you have not eaten here it is a great place to conclude with after a scenic drive through the bluffs on HWY 33. If you have eaten here, I need not say anything. If you have not you should make it a priority. I have recommended to family and friends, as well as people visiting from out of town. It is the hidden gem only the local people know of. Prices are low while still being a high quality and salad bar and soup is great, it is frequently the only thing my wife orders due to its wide variety. They are remarkably children friendly and the overall service is AWESOME. I wish there was a 10th star I could rate this place. Wasn't very happy with them this time we got there 15 min before our reservation and said can we just go sit down she said no I looked at her she said no we will come to get you at 5:30 so we waited for the rest of our people to get there and mind you there weren't very many people in the dining room there was a party going on upstairs so if you have a party going on upstairs wouldn't you have extra help that night because our waitress took our orders brought us our appetizers then our meal the disappeared for about 20 minutes wow I amnot going there for sometime anytime soon!!!!!...
