Sullivan's BBQ — Restaurant in Cataño

I recently tried Monsalvis because I was craving some good roasted chicken, and while the flavor was decent, I left feeling pretty disappointed with the portion sizes.

I ordered the half chicken, expecting a decent meal—but what I got was just that: barely more than a quarter of a chicken. It felt more like a sampler than a full portion. I also ordered a full serving of yuca (cassava) to go, but what I received barely looked like half a portion.

I get that portion sizes can vary, but when you're paying for a "full" serving, you expect to get what you paid for.

If they improved the serving sizes to match the price point, I might give them another shot. Until then, it's hard to...

I didn't take pictures. You want inexpensive this is it. Half of chicken (only thing we ate and it was a little pink), fries full of oil (looked refried), and arroz with gandules no flavor at all. Like I said cheap and if it's all you can afford go, but the first time I saw it I was like no. Then we had to nothing else was open. But not for us.

NO SALAD. So if you on a diet, not this place. I saw nothing BBQ either. They offer ribs but even the pork...

Me encanta el sabor del pollo. El pernil estaba rosado. Fue orden para llevar y tuve una experiencia mala. Les cuento pedí ½ pollo con papas para llevar porque ya no se puede comer en el local. Cuando llegué a mi casa tenía 1 pollo completo y sin las papas uff tuve que usar el arroz con gandules del servicio de pernil con arroz que pedí para calentar al otro día ahí fue donde noté el pernil rosado y para colmo era más grasa que carne. Obviamente boté esa carne porque el color rosa en el pernil era sospechoso como crudo y no me lo iba a comer. Muy mala experiencia. Para los que vayan abran las bolsas para que estén seguros de lo que les sirvieron sea lo correcto. También el pollo estaba sobre la sal. En mi primera visita comí en el lugar y todo estaba bien. Y no pueden decir que era el Rush de gente en la fila cuando llegué salía una cliente e inmediatamente me tocaba a mí, no tuve que esperar. El recibo estaba correcto y cobraron lo que pedí pero no fue lo que me dieron. Esto pasó en el de Cataño...no vuelvo hasta que pueda comer adentro y estar segura de que me sirven lo correcto y que no esté...
