Bogey's Smokin BBQ — Restaurant in Catawba Island Township

Normally a regular favorite stop in the summer but very disappointed this year. Too many kids who had no clue what they were doing today. They obviously have no idea what ice cream items even are!! They were very obviously extremely confused and untrained! U could tell they were totally lost! Boss failed there! I asked for a small chocolate in a sugar cone. I got a regular cone. Sent it back to be corrected. Got back a tiny baby portion of chocolate ice cream in a pointy regular cone. UGH!! Seriously?? One inch of ice cream in a fake (NOT sugar) cone. If this is how things will be this year we won't be back. Sadly...

I ordered the half rack of ribs and 2 sides for $ 15. I opted for the potato salad and the baked beans. Both were really good and seemed fresh.I did like the ribs, but they didn't seem fresh, but they were good.

The pork belly came on a stick, which was really a great idea. And it was cooked well.The fat was a little rubbery, which I think came from being reheated, but the flavor was spot on.

I would try this place again. I went during the weekday. I'd probably go during the weekend when they're busier and the food...
