ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE The food is always great, BUT I've never been so embarrassed in my life. A bartender with a bad attitude and neck tattoos approached us. We watched her visit tables and guests around us. Some of which we were there before. We brushed it off. However, after bringing our drinks and taking our order, she was still being rude. So, I asked her if we did something wrong. I wanted to make sure we are always considerate of anyone taking care of us and being aware of ourselves. What ended up happening still has me flabbergasted. I mean this incident really shocked me to my core. This woman lost her sense. She looked me dead in my face and said with a smirk "I'm busy". To which I replied kindly "ohk, I totally get that, but I did notice the table beside us arrived after us and you went to that table first and were kind to them...." She interrupted me and said "that's fine I can get you another server and actually you know what I do remember you and I do have a problem I don't like you!" I was shocked. She continues "We worked together so I will get you another server!" She is yelling this and kept going on and on at me in the middle of the dining room. Everyone is looking at her this point. I immediately asked for the owner to which she grinned and said "oh that's fine" as she obviously wasn't scared of repercussions. She knew there wouldn't be any. After speaking with her supervisor, I can see why. The man comes out looking like he was on drugs and he acted zoned out. His teeth, hair, clothes, and nails were dirty. He had almost no words to provide. His reasoning for not making her leave was a full dining room. That wouldn't fly at any establishment I've ever worked for but ok. So I gave him another opportunity to say anything remotely helpful to us. I asked him what he would do. He said "idk it didn't happen to me" needless to say we are the ones who left out of embarrassment and pride. They thought we would pay for a meal after that. All he wanted to do was give me a new server and have us out of his greasy hair. Lack of leadership is an understatement because she should never feel comfortable enough to disrespect customers in someone else's business.
For context:
The bartender- Diane,
I finally found out her name later. I didn't even remember this woman but apparently when I was a teenager -over 15 years ago we worked together! What could I have done to her when I can't even recall a single conversation with this woman. I'm shocked this happened and more shocked that we were ran out of there. I guess I'll never forget...
Read moreWorst Experience Ever! My family and I went to celebrate my birthday. They had to switch our waiter for a waitress, due to some other employee did show up that night. I don't prefer salads, so I asked if I could switch for another side, because it came with a salad and a side. She said yes, so I asked for 2 baked potatoes. Due to the fact that my sister had just got out of the hospital she wanted something light. I was told that I couldn't have 2, but I could have a salad or onion rings. I don't like either. Then I was told that if I give my sister anything off of my plate I would be charged another $3.00. So, I told her I just wouldn't eat, but she just kelp insisting that I get the onion rings or a salad. By this time I had decided not to even eat, due to the fact that she had made me so agitated. She went and got what was suppose to be the manager, he did not present hisself as one. He wanted to know what was the problem, I explained that since I couldn't have 2 baked potatoes then just bring my sister what ever she would like, but I would not be eating. His response was "OK". I asked him, "Will I still be charged $3.00 for not eating or did I need to go to the car?" He replied "What ever you would like." We were planning on getting desserts after our meals, but was nervous that we would be charged $3.00 per person that took a bite, but we were never asked if we would like a dessert. These were the rudest staff I have EVER encountered. I have been here before and loved our waiter and the food, but NEVER AGAIN. They sure know how to run people off. Thanks for giving me the BEST birthday...
Read moreLet me start by saying I’m a fan but this particular experience wasn’t the best. Brought a friend who’s never been and she loved her steak and my pecan crusted chicken was delicious. However, the noise level was off the chart. We simply couldn’t have a conversation. Not sure how to fix that but we hadn’t seen each other in ages and it was very disappointing. I ordered the signature salad as my side and honestly, it was awful. Huge pieces of spring type mix with long stems, a few strips of onion and a long piece of cucumber that were impossible to cut on the flat plate without half the salad landing in the table. The feta and cranberries were non-existent. Dressing was tasteless. And it was warm…not even cool. I always finish my salad but this one wasn’t worth the effort or upcharge. We both got the sweet potato w/cinnamon butter…may I suggest asking if you’d like it or just plain? It was a hot day and our teas were watery and the glasses were so sweaty, condensation was literally in puddles. What happened to coasters/paper napkins??? No bread seemed odd too??? Lastly, our waitress was fine but we sat with all the used dishes never being bussed. Very off putting. I wouldn’t advertise as “upscale” when this simple courtesy isn’t observed. P.S. Since I’m trying to offer suggestions…I would suggest pressure washing the front entrance. It would look soooo much better. Again, our main dishes were great but the other issues really ruined the experience. Please take this as friendly advice, not...
