I can't start to tell you why this place is one of my favorite experiences of Puerto Rico. We came here for a friend's birthday. She actually chose the place, and it was a wow from seeing the mountains to the view, and the place everything is so beautiful and neat. She was afraid of the results, but nobody had a specific expectation of what this was going to be, and when up and beyond, I will recommend everything from the food to the service. All the servers are very attentive, and it adds up the idea of the chefs coming up to your table and explaining what they have built to make this concept. Also, the servers are very acknowledged of what they have in their menu, so they will explain to you what is in the courses or drinks they served along with their own experiences or preferences within the product they're presenting to you. As a server myself, I always enjoy when the staff have pride in what they do, and you can see their passion for the excitement to show you new things and delight your senses in every possible way. A 10/10 this is something you at least had to do once in your life. Didn't disappoint at all, so do you and your friend or family a favor recommending this place because it's definitely worth every single penny you spent. Congratulations on the hard work you guys put and the amazing service. From Venezuela, a very...
Read moreIt's not really worth your money, it feels like they are assaulting your wallet. First, you have to buy the tickets with anticipation, for a five course dinner. $97.31 (with taxes) only for the food. When you pay that much money for food, you expect good quality food, and it wasn't. Then, it takes too long for the food to arrive between courses. I had the vegan option and my acquaintances were saying it was better than the meat option. Everybody said, including me, the dessert was the better course. That's says a lot for all the money you're spending on only the food.
If you are drinking alcohol, you have to be prepared to spend at least the double amount of money when you are there,. At least I can say that the cocktails were nice. Props to the bartender. The service wasn't that great. I only saw my server one time at the beginning, and then other server took my order for the drinks for the rest of the 5 hours, until they came with the check.. At the check, they charge you for your server tips for the whole dinner, foods tickets and drinks, even if you've already paid for the food.
If you want to spend over $200 for the experience of the view, go for it. But I do not recommend this restaurant for the food and prices. I've eaten better at other places and spend way less money, for dinners with...
Read moreThe location is nested in the beautiful hills south of Cayey. Note that the hacienda is not owned by those running Bohemia, rather it is rented out as part of this business model, which I found really interesting. We experienced the November 2024 menu, which included an appetizer (entrada) consisting of chorizo filled empanadas; delicious. This was followed by four main entries (cursos), the last one being a dessert. My wife and I enjoyed the food, wine, and the slow pace at which it all happened. Service is excellent. Out of all the courses, I did not experience the wow factor when eating the grilled angus. It was really good, but I had very high expectations given that the grilling is done by Argentinians in their stile. I think the combination of sun dried tomatoes and kalamata olives might need some revisitation as it added some unneeded saltiness. The cauliflower was fantastic. My wife went there on another trip and told me they served another, more refined menu, which was at another level. Check the menu out in advance on their calendar and venture off on...
