Foods is great but the service is very bad. From the time I walked in, I wasn't greeted by no one. To get someone to help me. Well, it took for me to go to the bar. Bartender was more focus on a conversation with what appeared to be two locals, that every time I tried to get his attention with no success. Every time I looked at the bar, bartender was on the phone and only spoke to people he knew. When the waitress actually came to the table and we asked for the menú. She loooked bothered by our question and she put a face like we knew the menú. This was my first time here. After ordering food, it came pretty fast, but still it said a lot about our waitress face and attitude. Some of the food came lukewarm to the table. To get another round of beer. Hell it took us over 10 minutes. I could see the waitress and made numerous hand gestures to get her attention and that didn't work. I took for us to go to the bar, to again see the bartender on his phone and us calling the waitress couple of time at the bar to get another beer. From the time we were served, the waitress hasn't even stop by the table to see how we were doing. Her name is Awilda. To top it off, when she brought the bill. She charged an extra dollar on the the total. If I wasn't paying any attention, I probably would have paid it. It looked like she was adding her tip to the bill. At this point I was very angry and frustrated. Like they say in Spanish "Debut y despedida", "my first and my last". I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone due to the service and the lack of attention by the waitress. I would probably would have another opinion of this place, if the place would have been packed. But the...
Read moreGreat local food. We went to celebrate a birthday with my family. We tried sorullitos, alcapurrias and morcilla. And everything was really good. Drinks were good also. We asked for beers, Tito's Vodka, Whisky. All food was great. I asked for Bacalao and white rice, my husband ordered cabrito en fricasé and arroz con longaniza. The group also ordered tostones de plátano and tostones de pana. My brother in law tried carne guisada. Everybody was happy with their food. The staff is very attentive. I would reccomend that if your going for lunch, try to get there early and you will be seated quick and also find a good spot to park. Don't wait for somebody to seat you. It's very informal, so go ahead and pick a table that is available. This is a very popular family restaurant and can be filled very quick. Is is located in a rural area where customers end up parking along the road. Get there early and do some carpooling,...

Highlights: • Lechon Asado • Morcilla • Arroz con Gandules
Review: In Mexico we have carnitas and in Puerto Rico they have Lechon Asado a la varita. First I tried the arroz con gandules which was everything I wished for and more. Nicely seasoned, with fresh aromatics and a perfect fluffy texture. Next I tried the batata hervida which is a type of sweet potato but it wasn’t my favorite. Finally the star of the show did not disappoint, the lechon was succulent, meaty, fall apart texture, with nice rendered fat and the cuerito was chefs kiss perfection. I can’t wait to go back to try their other sides and drinks.
