Tony's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Cedar Bluff

This was one of the only remotely close eateries to the lake house we stayed at over the weekend, so we opted to grab pizzas for dinner on Saturday evening. I wasn't the one who went to the restaurant for pickup, so I can't comment on the atmosphere, cleanliness, etc, but our order was ready when they said it would be, which was good.

We ordered a pepperoni and cheese and a ham and pineapple pizza, in addition to cheesy bread. They also have subs, salads, and I think some calzone type options. Tony's makes their pizzas with the toppings beneath the cheese, so you can't be sure your order is right just by looking at it. Everything came out fine, but I personally think toppings, especially pepperoni, get really oily and rubbery underneath the cheese rather than pleasantly crispy, so that's not really my preference.

I was still full from lunch so I just wound up munching on the cheesy bread. It came with a couple of cups of marinara. Ideally I would have liked a bit more cheese, but the crust/bread was nice and crispy while maintaining some chew and the cheese wasn't over cooked. Nothing special, but not bad either. Fiancé stated that the pizza wasn't that great - slightly worse than a good experience at domino's - but edible and again, all that was really available.

Overall, I wouldn't look to this place again personally, but for the area, it gets the job done if you're looking for...

I had the worst experience here in cedar bluff Al Tony sub& pizza I found a hole clump of hair in my food and the people told me it's not from there kitchen they now for a fact they said I put the hair in it to get free food and that they could not give me my 16 dollars back for the food they even said that I make complaints there All the time and and that I made a complaint there last year but I was in Kentucky and I just moved up here they treated me like a dog and they came out side and said they don't want the customer in there to hear wat we talked about then they said how can we get hair in the food we fallow all health stuff we put r hair up and we put hair spray in are hair so it's not from here they Lough in my face cause I told them it's hair in the food and y'all can't give me...

This was our first visit here. Had been by it many times, heard about it as well so tonight we tryed it. Highly recommend it. The staff our awesome, very friendly and chatty, the food is great. We started with breadsticks and fried pickles, no complaints, the breadsticks were very good. I chose Spaghetti with meat sauce, it was great, plenty of sauce, came with Texas Toast, which was great. My wife had some wings, which it says are always fresh never frozen, and she couldn't stop talking about how great they were and flavorful. Her and my daughter also had a BBQ Pizza, which they raved about as well. Its a very nice little place, and with talking to the owner they also have another restaurant in Ashville, Al as well.
