LAKE DALE ALE located in Lowell, IN is a no frills local bar. It is well known famous around the area for its delicious beef sandwich. It truly is! Lots of beef with cheese on toasted bun. It is quite substantial in size .. half or whole for sharing with side of fries or vegetables. The price point for items on the menu is good. This local town bar is small with booths located across the front of building and stools for added seating. Nothing fancy about this place just good food & people. There is a back room for playing pool with additional tables for seating to eat or watch. I usually arrive on weekends for dining slightly prior to dinner hour to get a booth. There are about 5 booths so heed warning. If you don’t mind dining at countertop no problem my friend. All in all a warm inviting establishment with parking in front, side & back of building. We come here often & absolutely love the food & usually have great service however today was a different story! Worst service I have every received, not only were we ignored when we got there, the gentleman that came in after us was served before us. Never checked on us & my beer was empty for at least 15mins, at this point I had enough. Said we were leaving at received "I told you it was going to be 45mins for the food" w/ an attitude BTW, no we were not told, I wld not have waited for that. Friendly crowd! Great environment! Traveling, couldn't find cold beer close to apple valley dinwiddle Indiana and it brought me here 7 miles from comfort in. Was looking for cold beer and gps brought me here. Bre was outstanding and very professional. No long wait it was a little busy but she remained positive and was quickly to check if I needed another drink which is awesome. Also the beer was cold!
