The Dam Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Cedar Creek Township

I really liked this place! Out of the way neighborhood place really but one of a kind. Was there on a really busy saturday and its a great place for having drinks and grub. A bottoms-up tavern with locals, boaters and couples. Very happy happy place!!! Older adult crowd too which is really nice. Its loud so if your lookin for a quiet place this isn't it. Few tables outside. Sit where u want and the table help does a good job but be patient cause these girls are really hustlin to serve everyone. They are very nice and are trying to please everyone and get the orders right. We had irish nachos and wings. The buffalo were a little spicy but very good and the boneless bbq were really good and were actually big pieces of fried chicken not that processed junk! The irish nachos were very good and loaded with melted white cheese and scallions and bacon bits and were just grand! Next time i will try the lobster dip and maybe the rueben. My husband and I have gotten food to go from here 3 or 4 times now and it has always been spot on! The mac and cheese is my absolute favorite but I always get it as a side dish so I can keep trying other menu items. So far we have had all of their burgers and they are so delicious. They are huge patties!! The different flavor combinations are great. This last time we had the Cajun chicken pasta and the Philly steak sandwich with mac. The Cajun pasta was very similar to Chili's but spicier. It was delicious but a bit steep in price for the portion size. $17 dollars is a lot for a small pasta dish. When we ordered the Philly, I was shocked that they asked how I wanted my steak cooked! It's real steak and was it delicious!!! It was very messy and hard to eat without getting sauce all over but it was so worth it. And the mac and cheese side was just perfection. The service wasnt that great. I waited for 15 minutes at a table before I decided to go to the bar and get drinks myself. I had a girl drop off menus but she didn't tell me my server will be here in a moment or my servers name or if I even get a server at a table in the bar. I ordered a mule and it tasted very strange. Idk what she did but I couldn't even drink it. I wanted to smoke outside but the parking is right on top of the entrance and I was in the way when people were coming and going. I felt claustrophobic in the bar. Although it was a nice ride and cute place. The bartenders were very kind and smile. They took my mule back with no problem and gave me a beer. If they had an outdoor patio I would give em 5stars. I'm a smoker but I cant do it inside of a closed room. We rode out and I like to be in the sunshine and fresh air. I will come back several times.
