Sportsman's Bar — Restaurant in Cedar Grove

I live in Cedar Grove and unfortunately had an awful experience there today. I had about 30 friends in town for our annual Friendsgiving. We went to Sportsmans this evening around 4:30 pm. As soon as a few of us entered we were yelled at to have our IDs. Some of us did not, as we had been playing kickball at Independence Park so we left (not that it matters but I'm 30 and my friends are all 25 or older). Those that had their ID stayed as we had designated drivers taking people in shifts back to my house. My friends that stayed unfortunately had a terrible experience. The bartender yelled at them repeatedly to get out despite having shown her all of their IDs. She said she would call the cops. They stayed and finished their drinks but she continued to be hostile and berate the group and tell them to go to Belgium. Not sure what the issue was...we were all compliant and ready to...

I experience was awful! The older blonde bartender was slapping items onto bar and swearing about the last customer. I will not go back. We left after our drinks.
