Casey's — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

With the exception of the gentlemen who usually works nights and I believe a semi new employee because this is the first time I’ve ever seen him the rest of the employees that work here are rude and disrespectful…..I ask a question and get a slick, semi-rude answer. They don’t clean up around the store, they talk about their home life issues in front of customers, I mean, I could go on and on, but I won’t. Here’s what I will do. I would rather, and will, take my business, through a blizzard, thunderstorm, or 100 degree heat to the nearest Kwik-Star, than have to deal with that. Today was the first day I visited this location. The breakfast pizza looked like it had been sitting out for a while and the breakfast burritos looked like they were about half the size of other Casey's. When I went to check out, the person at the counter was running between registers and having a conversation at the other register than I was at. I finished my transaction and when I asked for a receipt, the person at the counter sighed and didn't say a word. When I asked if there was any issue with getting a receipt, they said no. They did apologize for the sigh and told me it was not about me, but it sure felt like the conversation at the other register was...

The lady was nice yes but rude at the same time don’t know how to explain it!
