I have been going to 1-stop bbq for almost 12 yrs and it's unfortunate for me to say, I probably won't be back. Let's start off by making it clear that 1stop is a "different" bbq. There is nothing "traditional" about its unique flavor and techniques. Sweet yet tangy... soft but tends to be dry... spicy in a very different way. These are things you might hear from others that know. Again... ITS DIFFERENT! So understand that before you try it. Open minded is the best way to discover and enjoy food imo. Now to the issues :( For the second time I was told that when ordering the sampler I could not have 2 chicken 1 pork. Ok, I get prices have gone up but I also understand cooking and know what your margins are. Here's an idea... charge me more instead of flat out telling me I can't. Oh and remove "your choice" from the menu as to not mislead people, problem solved! THE FOOD: well... it's gone downhill in the last couple of yrs. The chicken is even dryer now than ever and it's flavor is a poor shadow of what it once was. Consistency is no longer a thing and quality is on its way out as well. SERVICE: I don't want to destroy these hard working kids so let's just say, if you don't like your job then please move on. Yes, life is difficult at times but remember... it's not the customers fault (most times). I understand celina is a small town but just know, you're not trapped there no matter how you may feel. I know this review will probably fall on deaf ears knowing that my $50-$90 loss of yours a few times a year (now) you won't miss, but I'm sure the $100 plus tips to the disgruntled yet hard working kids will be. DO BETTER PLEASE and get back to doing what you've always done best. Making...

I should have expressed my disappointment with the manager but , I didn't only because my waitress was very young and it was her first day on the job and probably the first job she has ever had. To start with there was so litte bbq on the bun I had to raise the top to find any pork.... maybe 2 Tbsp of meat and the bottom bun was sobbing wet . Also the portion of baked beans and Cole slaw consisted of two tablespoons each. Beans seemed to be just out of a can and warmed in a pot and not baked at all.. Cole slaw was good , all two bites worth. I can't believe I didn't speak with the on duty person in charge , it's not like me to not express myself in a TERRIBLE place. I left the young waitress a generous tip on the table since it was her first day on the job and when I seen what and where the tip ended up I wish I had left no tip at all. Maybe it was just a bad day for the resturant and staff there at one stop bbq. I will never eat there again. My son and I rode a few miles down the road and had to stop and get antacids so , it was a memorable...
Read moreWe came around 7:00p.m. Food was cold, service was terrible, food-especially bbq tasted like sugar and water, all around bad experience. We had a group of 15. The resturaunt had 1 waitress for the whole place. It was kinda busy when we arrived. She refilled the teens drinks 1 time. They drink fast!! The waitress never came around again. Then when we complained, the owner argued with us. My son has a degree in hospitality. He mentioned that, and the lady decided that she wasn't about to argue with him anymore. Food didn't even have any bbq on it. How is that, when you are supposed to be a bbq resturaunt??? My children ordered cheeseburgers, fries, and chicken basket meals. The fries were cold. The burgers were good. That is why we rated this place a 1 star. If your hungry, move on to another restaurant. This is not the place. We come from Indiana, we have more southern hospitality, than this place ever thought about having!! We will not ever come back, if in this area again. Ty for letting us share our...
