Given that there aren’t a ton of restaurant options in Celina, TN, Los Primos provides a inexpensive, American-style Mexican food. The menu is large, and there is plenty of seating. The food was just okay. The steak and chicken as part of my Fajita Mix order looked like scraps and was overcooked and rather bland. The accompanying condiments appeared fresh, and the complimentary chips and salsa was tasty. Our server seemed to forget about us at times as there were large chunks of time where we were waiting for a refill or the check, but he was very friendly.

We stopped in around 2:30 PM on a Saturday and were seated right away. The service was excellent: friendly and fast. The staff even brought out water and a container for our dogs (waiting in the EV with the AC on), which was so kind as we'd been out hiking and running around all morning.

We ordered the Chori Pollo and Enchiladas Verdes, and both were amazing. The chicken in the enchiladas was tender and the verde sauce tasted super fresh. We finished lunch with sopapilla and ice cream- the perfect meal cap.

I got something different then what I usually get. It was a Saturday, so lunch menu was not available. I ordered a chicken burito and it came with a side of rice and beans for like $9+tax.. I get my order delivered and the portions were so small!! The slice of tomatoes on my burito were bigger than it was lol.. when I told my waitress there was no way I was gonna pay for that, and tried to order something else, she grabbed the plates with an attitude and walked off.
