I really wanted to love this place. We had a birthday celebration planned to play cosmic pickleball on a Saturday night. First issue was the hassle to reserve the court. SportyPickle has figured out how to extract an extra $39 for a reservation by allowing people willing to pay that 67% tariff on a $60 court rental to reserve 21 days out rather than just 7 days in advance. When it’s a party with twelve people’s schedules to consider, you pay the fee, but it leaves a sour taste.

Second issue, the pickleball area was oppressively hot so everyone was drenched with sweat after ten minutes. Third issue, this is supposed to be under blacklights with glowing balls and lighted paddles. Only two of our four paddles successfully lit up and one of those was dead before our hour was up. Extra special was they told you to bring your own balls or pay $12 for one of theirs!

Fourth challenge was the court surface. The courts are surfaced differently than others we have played on in Denver. Outdoor balls (small holes) were flat and didn’t bounce well. Indoor balls (large holes) bounced better but the ones we brought were invisible under the blacklight. When we tried to buy their ball, they were also outdoor balls!

Here’s the good stuff. Fun atmosphere. Good bar with reasonable beer and drink prices. Ability to have your group identified with wristbands so one person can cover the bar tab. Ample parking. Darts set up nicely for play by...

We recently hosted a corporate event at Sporty Pickle with 75 team members, and it was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, fun, and full of energy.

A huge shoutout to our incredible rep, Jenifer, who answered every one of my thousands of questions with patience, clarity, and a smile. She went above and beyond to ensure every detail was covered and that our team had an unforgettable experience. The service team, Max and Angel, Jamie, kept the good vibes going all night long with excellent service, great energy, and friendly attitudes. The food and drinks were delicious, a perfect match for the vibrant, playful atmosphere.

Our Pickleball coaches, Kelly and Don, were absolute rockstars. Not only did they teach our crew how to play with patience and humor, they also took on challenges from some of our more competitive team members, and let’s just say, they showed us what the pros are made of! It was a blast to watch and be part of.

Jarrett, I can't thank you enough for hosting our group at your new place! It was an absolute home run. The facility itself is a pickleball player's dream. Three pristine indoor courts? Yes, please! The courts were well-maintained, and the atmosphere was electric with the sound of paddles hitting balls. It's the perfect environment to get competitive or simply enjoy a casual game with friends.

But it wasn't just the courts that impressed us. The food and drink menu was surprisingly diverse and delicious. The tacos were amazing!!! We tried a variety of dishes, and everything from the appetizers to the main courses was top-notch. And let's not forget the drinks! Their cocktail and beer list was inventive and refreshing. Our waitress was an absolute gem, balancing our sometimes chaotic orders with a smile and efficiency.

The karaoke night was the cherry on top. DJ Avery did an incredible job keeping the energy high and the crowd engaged. It was the perfect way to unwind after a long a week.

Overall, this place is a fantastic addition to the local scene. It's a place where you can enjoy a fun game, delicious food, and great company. I can't wait to come back and bring more friends.
