New Sheffield Cafe — Restaurant in Center Township

So my friend Joe and I had some business at Alam's Hardware (great hardware store). After we completed our business there, I googled best places to eat in Aliquippa PA. The New Sheffield Cafe was listed. The reviews were good so we gave it a try. Well, they didn't disappoint us in any way. Our server was Danielle. She was awesome! When I explained we were never there before, she patiently covered the menu, including her favorites. Joe got the boneless wings and I had the small steak (filet mignon) salad. Both entrees were delicious and hearty. I had the lemon cream cake for dessert. Danielle took the chill off in the microwave and it was the perfect end of a great meal. The atmosphere, service, and food were all outstanding. Oh, I took home a bowl of the homemade wedding soup which I'm sure will hit the spot. I highly recommend this cafe. The menu has something for everybody, served attentively, in a great atmosphere... Everything you want when you have a meal at a restaurant. I will definitely return the next time my travels take me near...

Not even exaggerating if I could rate them a 0 I would, this place was absolutely disgusting and my friend actually told me it was really good, that's why I chose to eat here. I got the steak salad to go and there was a piece of hair in my food, so I called them to let them know and they offered me another salad and I took it, because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. & this time all the greens were brown and of course another hair. When I called back they told me the owner would be there in an hour so I went and then was told that they're not sure why I was told that. They refused to give me my money back and were being very rude no matter how respectful and polite I was being about the situation. We reserved a room and had 50 people- our bartender Olivia was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We scheduled cornhole tournament on the upper lot and when we were almost finished the owner came out very rudely told us we had to end our game now -his regular customers were coming in and needed the four parking spots that we were using. If he would have asked politely it would of been different but as it is now we will definitely not come back to this place. Everyone spent a lot of money we had a buffet set up which the food was very tasty and plentiful. Because the owner was arrogant and rude he lost a lot of future business. This was my third time at this place this year but never experienced such a disrespect like that before to our four counties represented...
