I came here with a coworker twice within one week because the food was great, BUT the customer service we received from the owners were extraordinary! James and Anita truly know how to make you feel welcomed the moment you walk through the door until the moment you walk out. We had the fried chicken on one day and the fish on another. The chicken was perfectly fried and seasoned to perfection. James even took the time to make a fresh batch for my coworker. He was engaging and talked with us as if we had been friends for years. The next visit we had the fish which was prepared with the same tasteful results as the chicken. A little souther twist he shared with us was that the fish needed to be eaten with onion and pickle to bring out the exceptional flavor of the fish. Funny thing is, I didn't know that this place was actually local and located less than a mile from where I work😳‼️ Needless to say, I HAD TO GO FIND IT 😅🤣❤!!!!

After work I went to go get more rids, only to find out they were sold out. However, I discovered I ALSO LOVED their Smoked Turkey (and I'm NOT a big turkey fan), their sausages, the boudin and other menu items.

Mid June 2023, my then fiance (BBQ judge) and I decide to have B&D cater our wedding. We both love the food. Due to the heat, only about half the folks showed up. After the reception, we had a lot of leftovers. We asked our guests if they wanted anything... flowers, champagne, wine, beer...
