The Pizzeria — Restaurant in Center

Years ago, I went to Center for a drug screening prior to taking a job. I wanted a nice place to eat that was not a chain. Found this gem and had ordered a pizza to go. We started eating it on the way back to Cushing, but we ended up turning around and immediately going back for 3 more because of how good they were.

Skip the chain, go on in and get yourself a great pizza. You won't get this from the big-name pizza joints. Great ingredients with a flavorful taste palate. The employees were fun and interacting with conversations as if it were truly a place they wanted to work. And they complete understood when you had three large men come right back in after leaving for 15 minutes and wanting to get some more of the pizza pie before heading on the long road home.

Overall, the pizza was not burnt. The cheese was not too greasy and didn't have artery dripping grease when you wanted to eat it. Pepperoni... beef... you cannot go wrong. But you will also not get an opportunity to enjoy this unique place anywhere else. So...

While I was awaiting my food, a worker decided to use the most pungent cleaning solution to mop the floor of the table in front of me. The place was basically empty except for me and 2 other tables occupied. Smelled so bad I had to move to the other side of the restaurant. Once the food arrived, the portion was smaller than anticipated for the price. But the cookies were priced over $2 each for one small cookie around the size of a subway cookie but smaller. Cashier smiled and said she doesn't make the prices ;) Food wasn't bad and if your hungry I'm sure you could do worse but that town had very few options so... Either eat before you get to Center, Tx or sure, eat here. They have plenty of space inside so if they start mopping near you, you can...

Ordered a large “ the works” pizza minus the jalapeños. For some reason the dining room was closed so had to use the drive through. Finally got to the window and paid. Checked pizza and it was full of jalapeños. Gave it back. Told to go through the drive through line again. Finally get to the window again and they give me my pizza again. Checked it and full of jalapeños again. Took the pizza anyway and brought it home. Picked off the jalapeños. Worst pizza ever. Dough was very chewy. Not much sauce. I SAVE YOURSELF A BAD EXPERIENCE and stay with the chains of Pizza Hut or Little Ceasars. At least they have...
