Stopped here by chance two nights in a row for dinner. Saturday we ate inside and on the recommdarion of our nice server, we had the burger of the month (bacon peanut butter - was actually good!) and the app of the month which was loaded potato skins - except it was more like two potatoes cut in half with toppings. It was tasty and presented nicely.
Sunday night we came back with friends and ate out on the patio, during their volleyball league time. Lively and fun atmosphere, very nice server! We had Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches, the fish and chips dinner, a taco salad (no shell so the picture isn't representative) and a wrap Sandwich not sure which kind. All the food was good with nice portion sizes.
I have just two comments - I didn't like the expensive upcharge to go from chips to fries or other sides (I think it was $2.75?), and I didn't like the credit card fee being already added to our bills each night. If there's a fee we will pay cash, don't assume people will use cc.
Overall, it's a good local place to stop. Super friendly staff,...
Read moreWorst food we have ever had. We have been there 3 times in the last few months for bingo and dinner on Tuesday nights. We've tried 6 different menu items.
Cheeseburger - unseasoned meat/bland Chefs salad - had old turkey/smelled sour Broasted chicken - tasted like fish Chicken tenders and fries - greasy soggy fries Drummies and baked potato - hardly any meat and one was like some sort of knuckle (the baked potato cost $4 bucks) Fish and chips - fish tasted like it's been laying in the sun on a beach for 4 days...super fishy taste. No lemon and no coleslaw served with it.
We will still go for bingo but we won't order food anymore. We gave the food a very fair shot. Husband said tonight he'd rather eat bingo balls. Sounds good to me! I regret paying $32 dollars for our meal tonight.
The popcorn and soda is very good....
Read moreThe service here was great - especially considering the very large (40+ people) and unruly youth hockey organization that "forgot" to call in advance. Our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, was tasty and the servers were extremely pleasant and helpful. The hockey group, on the other hand, allowed kids to run all over the place, yelled across the bar in attempt to change kids' behaviors instead of actually getting up and complained that the 10 minute warning they gave the staff didn't magically affect how many cooks and waitresses were on staff. The staff took all this in stride and continued to work diligently to serve everyone who was there. This all occurred on a Sunday evening which is normally a pretty quiet time at any bar and grill. Great job Kelly's Korner! This was our first visit and...
