Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Chandler

I went here tonight because my husband wanted a Oreo cookie waffle cone. The car in front of me had to pull up because the speaker didnt work and the drive thru employee came out thru the side door to signal us to move up to the window. But then the speaker worked and i ordered the waffle cone plus the ched "r" peppers for myself. So I pulled up. Next thing I notice while the car in front of me was still at the window, I saw the drive thru employee girl put her dirty shoes on top of the "RED TRAY" where they lay the icecream cones on and food for a good 5 seconds. And my food was put right where she had dirty the red tray. I couldn't believe my eyes! I pulled up and I told the young girl, "I'm not going to purchase what I just ordered. She said ok like she didnt care. I said, reason why is because I just saw you put your dirty shoes on the tray and you were laughing. Why would you do that? Now I have her attention! I continue to say, you know we can see what you do on that side glass door and I've been in the food industry and what you just did is unacceptable and I understand that you have some down time but that's a big no no!! She was stunned and knew I was right. I'll tell you one thing...I'll never go to a fast food place anymore. This was it for me! I'm definitely speaking to the GM. They should look at their cameras I'm sure they wouldn't like what I saw. I'm never going to this or any fast food place anymore. I'm horrified for life! Ugh!

Sitting at this location right now waiting for the last five minutes and counting for our money back. That is after waiting more than 30 minutes for our order to be corrected. And that is after waiting more than 15 minutes in the drive through.

We ordered two corns dogs, one #2 with ketchup and mustard, and one #2 with ketchup only (asked for plain with ketchup only). Well the burger that was supposed to have ketchup only had lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mayo (no ketchup). The person taking our money even repeated "meat cheese and ketchup only". Got our burgers and one was wrong. Ok, that happens. Drive back and pull into a stall, push the button, and tell them we just went through the drive thru and the order was wrong. Wait quite a few minutes and the girl comes out and takes the burger and goes back inside. No apologies or "we'll get that fixed right away". Nothing. Wait for 25 minutes and push the button again and explain that since we can't seem to get a burger with ketchup only that we would like our money back. Wait another 10 minutes and the manager comes out and asks for our receipt (which we weren't given). Unbelievably bad customer service. Obvious no concern for customer satisfaction at all.

Get the order right the first time and if you can't do that then apologize appropriately and sincerely and promptly remake the order. No customer should be left waiting this long at a sonic much less a...

I went there this morning around10:50 to simply get a bag of their crushed ice. I waited for at least 2 min and thought to myself, they must be closed. I then seen a young lady sitting on the drive thru window countertop & hanging out the window. Finally a "can I help you"... I ordered my ice drove up, paid and waited. Usually when I get ice only someone will come out quickly from the side door& deliver the ice, but since I was "THE ONLY CUSTOMER" there period I figured that it wouldn't take very long. Well I was so wrong because I waited for at least 5 + min for ice only. Now 5 min doesn't seem long to some, but when you see the staff(2 girls & 1 guy) goofing off, you get irritated. I couldn't believe that I had to wait for ice, while they threw things at each other, ran back & forth, laughing and playing duck & dodge from whatever they were throwing. It wasn't until the one guy turned & seen me looking at them, that they stopped. I finally got my ice from one of the participants, but not before I said a few choice words about my having to wait while they goofed off. They were so unprofessional and the only reason that I didn't call to speak with the manager, is that I wasn't sure if one of the goofers was the manager. I sure hope not. What a way to run a fast food facility, so unprofessional. So happy that I didn't order food. If it wasn't for my love of crushed ice, I'd give this location AZ Ave &...
