Subway — Restaurant in Chandler

RUDE AND NO REGARD FOR FOOD ALLERGY!!! I brought my teenage daughter and her friend in to get sandwiches. The friend has a food allergy and politely told the employee when she first stepped up to have her sandwich made. She asked to see the ingredient list for the bread. This is something she does every time because as we all know, restaurant recipes can change from time to time. The employee that seemed to be in charge approached and said she couldn't bring the ingredient list out because it is on a box that was in the freezer. So, our friend asked if the recipe had changed recently and the employee says, "Oh yes, they change the recipes often." So our friend again asked to see the ingredient list. The employee finally went back to get the box to show our friend. When she came back out with the box, she said, "You've come in before and ask to see the box every time." To which, our friend, patiently said, "Yes, because I'm deathly allergic and have had restaurants change their recipe on foods I frequently eat before, so now I need to double check anytime I order." The employee grumbled on about how the recipe is always the same so she shouldn't need to make her go get the ingredient list each time. Our young friend was incredibly patient and never said anything unkind, even though this employee was being very rude and dismissive. I let it slide because our friend was handling it very well. After we got our food, as we were getting the fountain drink before leaving, I heard the employee complaining to another employee about our friend, saying, "She comes in every time and demands to see the box every time and it never changes..." I had enough and turned to confront the employee but she was just walking into the back room. I waited for a couple of minutes but she did not return. Well, we will not...

We came in before 7. It started fine as the employee was making a to go order. That's where it started to go down. He should have finished working on the to go order then helped me and my mom. As my mom was putting her order in, "Titan Turkey" the guy had no clue or idea what that is. It's on the menu, double turkey. Finished up, paid and went home. Got home to eat, and I got that person's 6 inch to go order. Mom had her 6", but I was missing my footlong. Huge difference in size. I went down there to get this fixed and waited forever. Two people finished paying, and instead of taking care of me, he started on another order. These two young adults ordering 4 sandwiches! One, where was the manager?! And two, why weren't there at least 2 employees there?! Ridiculous! And I even tipped the guy $2.33. If anything, I wish I can get the tip back for his screw up. If one employee, is only there, they should close down that store for the day. No way he they can handle to go orders and walk in orders at...

It is 2:32 on October 23rd 2024. I come to this location often. Every time I've been here the staff has been pleasant, and accommodating. I don't like to leave bad reviews, but at this time I was so offended by the lady that was working that I have to say something. The young man that was helping me did a great job, but she was over his shoulder tell him what he can cannot do. She was so rude and unpleasant like she had something better to do, and didn't want to be here. She was even rude to the young lady, and Mother that came in after me. I have read some of the other posts, of people trying to avoid this place when I have had great experiences up until now. It's probably the attitude of this impatient and rude lady that didn't want to be bothered by anyone including her own coworker. Like I said I like this place, but before I enter next time I will look in and make sure she's not there. So disappointed. People shouldn't treat others like that. No...
