We were seated. Our order was Bac/Avo CB, s fries, diet coke, gr chic Cobb salad & sweet tea. I asked for extra mustard on the side with the burger.
Server brought our drinks and attended to another table with a child. Brought their drinks. Attended to another table, brought their drinks. A few minutes passed, she brought the burger. We were informed the salad would be right out. I asked for the mustard, she confirmed. Went to the table with the child, conversed for some time, went to the second table. Another server (?) Passed, we asked her for mustard and ketchup. Recieved it in less than a minute.
5 (+) minutes passed, she brought food to the table with the child. We were not approached.
Another 5(+) minutes passed, my husband went to the line to ask where his salad was, she was in conversation with another employee. She stopped pulled his salad out of the cooler and brought it to the table.
When asked what took so long, she said they had to boil the eggs. Oddly the eggs were ice cold, but the chicken was hot. (?)
At this time I had less than half my burger left on my plate. My drink was empty. She left without asking if I wanted refills.
She returned to clear my plate and drop off the ticket. I asked for a drink refill. My husband was upset as from our booth he could see her and coworkers just chatting away.
We told the cashier/manager who informed us she was 16/new.
That doesn't fix the terrible service we received.
And your burger patty has shrunk, and it...
Read moreAbsolutely one of the worst Denny’s in America. This place could compete in horrible service with the Denny’s that closed down by i10.
The few times I came here with my father, we get a more worse than previous waitress. It’s just so mind blowing that one of them decided to take her time and purposely spoil our meal, check, and experience. It’s for that reason she got not a single cent on that table and that this review is on here.
Food wise, chef doesn’t know how to cook anything. Want over easy eggs? TOO BAD! Here you go, take these over cooked, over hard eggs and shove them right up your rear. Want sunny side eggs? Nah, here’s some eggs with a hard yolk, clear egg whites, and a very over cooked bottom. Want sausage? Raw. Send it back? Over cooked. Try again? Burned on one side, raw on the other, with a drizzle of saliva sauce. “Well, hashbrowns are easy to cook, right?” Not for this chef. Comes out just like that sausage, raw. “You can’t screw up pancakes. That’s a sin.” Well guess what, this chef manages to make a decent pancake. Yes, that’s right, something came out right for once which was the pancakes. Visually, that is, until you cut it open and see that it’s no different than the sausage and the potatoes. Raw.
This chef must be working as a part time at Denny’s, when he really should be at a sushi shop full time. Look, if you insist on going here, heed my call. Unless you want chorro (Mexican diarrhea), just don’t go here. Go to Cracker Barrel in Baytown or Waffle House on...
Read moreI went to Denny's this morning and my experience was HORRIBLE! Our server was Nelly and it was not good from the start. It took her 10 mintes to bring our drinks. We ordered 2 appetizers the sampler and the loaded tots. She bought the sampler first with cold cheesesticks and when I asked about the tots she stated they were coming. After waiting and not seeing any change I asked for the manager her name is Norma. When I advised her of the service we were getting all she did was ask what we were missing, did not apologize or change our waitress. They finally brought our tots but they were also cold and half frozen. The rest of our meal was brought out together. I would definetly NOT recommend this place. I went with high hopes since it is a new location, now I feel that instead of opening a new crappy location they need to invest in fixing the ones they already have open. Needless to say I will continue driving to the one in Baytown. Sad to say the truck stop Denny's has been the one with the best service so far....
