Wellington's — Restaurant in Chantilly

Very nice hotel restaurant. People visit despite not staying at the hotel. I’ve had both breakfast and dinner here and the service and food is very good. I don’t find it to be a British pub but apparently it is. As you’d expect, the liquor, wine and beer lists are very extensive. The wings are great and so is the burger. They have a few sweet options if you’re looking for that as well. Seating is first come first serve and usually pretty active in the evening regardless of day of the week. I travel a lot and often eat hotel meals that are far from what I would consider culinary delights. Wellington's Pub at the Westfields Marriott outside of Washington DC was a real pleasure. The food was exceptional,the menu selection was vast and the manager,Kojo,and his staff were extremely personable and gracious. It's often hard to find establishments that can accommodate more than 8 people in a seating arrangement that encourages talking as well as the ability to hear what is being said. The food here is really awful. The fish and chips were awful. Twice the fish was completely raw inside and then burnt and raw inside. The crab cakes were awful. The food was frozen heated up poorly. The food was all bland and ill prepared. It is the only restaurant around or near the hotel and it is really awful. Pretty setting with awful food and extremely limited options.
