Hong Kong Fresh — Restaurant in Chapman

Ordered chicken fried rice, Mongolian beef, and the cheeseburger with fries for the little one. Went to pick it up it was still cooking, yay for hot food. But that’s where it ended. The chicken fried rice was literally just browned white rice and plain chunks of white chicken. No seasonings, no veggies, nothing. The Mongolian beef is listed on the menu as a spicy dish, it’s very sweet with zucchini in it. Very odd. And no real taste other than sweet. The cheese burger isn’t listed as having anything on it but comes with about an inch of Mayo on it and plain squishy fries also not seasoned, not even a tiny bit of salt. Owner was very rude to me over the phone then again in person. Then refused to make my food (TOGO) unless I came in. I haven’t stood him up or anything in the past for this behavior. Well, I came in and was continued to be treated harshly. Asked for my money back from an order he hadn’t even started and tried to refuse not once not twice but four times. And when he finally did he THREW the cash and said whatever. Will not be coming back. I shouldn’t have even went there after the phone experience but I try to support...

I really dislike writing not so great reviews. I stopped in as I was in Chapman for work. I've heard a lot about this place over the years including my daughter raving about it. Unfortunately, while the service was wonderful, the food was horrible. The chicken with veggies was bland and the fried rice was just plain yucky.
