Guadalajara Modern Mexican — Restaurant in Charleston

I will never stop here again..I walked in and sat down told the kid what I wanted..to start off he didn't listen to what I told him..I was wanting two beef Enchiladas beans and rice ..then he came out and asked me if I wanted cream rice salad and I said no I wanted beans and rice. When it came to the table no beans and rice.. So I took one bite and had to spit it out it was very bad...so I asked for my check so I could leave..I get up to pay to leave and I got more Attitude from him and he made it clear that he had no intention to try to fix it or make it better..or care that I would come back...so I will never be back or would recommend this place to anyone...I really hope that the owner will get to see this before he or she loses more business. Also I wish I could have gave a zero but I will not let me...over...

We used to come here when it was Las Cazuelas because it had the best chorizo and was the closest to West Coast Mexican cuisine we had found in the area since moving here. We went today and we were devastated. Prices are insane, chicken tasted canned and the beef tasted like taco seasoning packet. Not to mention the pepper jack cheese melt on everything. I've never sent food back, but this just wasn't worth it. It tastes like every other Mexican restaurant around here so if you like that then it's not bad, but definitely lost a great restaurant with this new owner. Staff was super sweet and patient, they were wonderful especially with the awkward experience of customers sending items back,...

The food was wonderful! Every good Mexican place needs to have great rice, and they do! Salsa had proper spice and richness. Everything felt well done, and definitely puts this place in the running for best Mexican in Kanawah County. The queso was okay. Eric was a great waiter....
