brought home order to go. OMG. country fried steak with three sides. meat was tender and good. gravy had good flavor too. all three sides were good too. green beans seasoned like Aunt Bernice’s, Cole slaw is one of the best i’ve ever had and mashed potatoes with gravy, better than KFC. dinner roll good quality too. every thing was so good. every bite. I definitely will eat their food again. prices are just right too. i definitely recommend. gone inside twice. food all right. pleasant small diner charm. a lot of regular customers. very popular for weekend breakfast. sorry. returned and tried a different plate, update. had the catfish catch plate. everything fine except the actual fried fish fillet. undesirable. i do not recommend this particular dish. atmosphere and service pleasant. dining room appears clean.

I will tell you that this was one of the nicest places I have visited in a long time and the staff was awesome. I travel to this location yesterday to meet a new friend who had to cancel out after I had arrived due to having her house in another town broken into. I decided to stay and eat regardless making the best of plans being changed for reasons beyond our control. First I have never met a friendlier bunch of people and second the food was excellent. I cook myself and thus I know good food when I taste it, but the overall experience is what really made it. I would highly recommend this to anyone if they are ever in Charlestown, but the parking is out on the street. It was such a lovely place you don't even care about the parking once...

Well my wife and I stopped in here for the first time. All I can say is I sure can't imagine how anyone could give a bad review. If you need white table cloths, or you are the type of person that has your nose so high in the air, that you could drown when it rains. This might not be your place. With that being said, If you enjoy a clean, comfortable, down home vibe. With kind and attentive service? You should get on down here. Now for the food. Frickin Yum!! No really my tongue liked to have beat my brains out. Everything was absolutely perfect. We did have breakfast food. Everything came just the way we ordered it.
