China Garden — Restaurant in Charlotte

This is my go-to spot for Chinese food! Incredible egg rolls, Chow mien, lo mein, egg fu yung, soup, s/s shrimp, orange chicken, and more....I have tried a ton and it is all amazing! I get dinner from here almost weekly and the portions give me lunch the next day (sometimes even 2 more meals)!

Note to the person that complained about the chow mein.... Chow mein is vegetables, lo mein is noodles. I always thought it was weird when I called in an order for chow mein and they confirm that I know it is just vegetables....they must do that now due to their review. In your defense though...I think it is a regional thing. When I lived in the UK I believe they had the two reversed...also I believe in Missouri and Arizona it was reversed as well. As a native east coast person, it has always been chow mein veggies and lo mein noodles from NY all the way...

I came all the way across town to get that food and I can say I’m highly disappointed. I almost gave it back while I was there, but I continued to take it with me and eat it. that chicken fried rice did not taste well at all. I’m very disappointed. Not sure what you all used to make it or what type of meat it really is. I’ve had Chinese food from you in the past that I enjoyed that was years ago though prior to the pandemic so I’m not sure where you all are today but that’s not the way to go with the food. . Just a heads up, the quality seriously dropped over the years. From one small business owner to another, I know it’s hard to keep up with things and demand, we go through a lot as small business owners but I expected more from you all. Please honor your online prices. If prices go up then update your website. I mention the online price and was told its not their website. I was told it chinagardennc. I double checked and it was the right site. The owners daughter told me to hold and I listen for 40 seconds while they SCREAM at her. Of course in Chinese. I hung up because it was obvious they didn't want to honor their prices. Plus tgey were too busy arguing. This is bad business.
