This place is another gem in the Charlotte area unaffected, for now,by the progression of the city's growth. I hadn't been here in many years, when a friend mentioned he had found a place with amazing food... After talking a bit,i knew the place and decided it was time to revisit another old home town treasure before time takes it away. I found that they had an app to order online so i used it and found it to be a surprising convenience,which added to the appeal of going back to this place. When i arrived the place was like stepping back in time yet appreciating a memory come to life. When i entered all i saw was smiles and busyness because the customers were plenty...i was glad i used the app. I found someone to help me,she grabbed my order off of the shelf and i was out of the door in no time. I ordered a chicken cordon bleu pita with fries and a pepsi and let me say....whenever im in the area before they close...im stopping in!..i was reborn. The menu is plentiful and full of variety. For what you pay at a fast food place,i bet you'd be happier spending that same money here and and help keep something homegrown right here where we need a taste of Charlotte's originality for the newbies taking over the town...lol The parking is a little tight so the app may the best way to...

We stopped here on our way to visit family before heading to Myrtle Beach. It is not too far from Bank of America field and I-74. The food was excellent. I am not a grit fan, but I tried them and the grits here were great. So were the home fries. I love when potatoes taste freshly cooked and not like frozen hash browns. I do not eat pork, but my wife enjoyed her livermush which was a first. They get it from a legit provider in the area. Omelettes, french toast and biscuits and gravy were all good. The area is more industrial so the only issue was trying to get out to turn left, but I just went down the other way and turned around. The owners Theo and Danielle are awesome people and the customers seem happy to be in there. I'd like to come back and try lunch when I come back to visit Charlotte. This is definitely a good place for breakfast and lunch. Panthers and Knights fans, swing by...

Never been here before a few days ago and most likely will never come back to be honest.

My experience was immediately negative, as soon as I walked in the door it felt like my being there was an inconvenience to the wait staff. I had to speak to 3 different people to place a to-go order to start with, they charge extra for a cup of water, they charge extra for TO-GO boxes (lol) they charge extra for almost anything they can. I understand why they do that but I personally feel that is a very poor, unaccommodating business model...not to mention those poor servers that have to tell their guests whenever they are asked, that there is an up-charge for everything. They are probably the ones most affected by the ridiculous policy
