My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Truva Turkish Kitchen. Even though it is in a “soft opening” the food and the service were terrific. We were ushered to the table right away. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The lamb kebab was really lovely - tender and flavorful. The Sultan’s Favorite was really delicious. (Online it says it is lamb but on the menu you have a choice of beef or chicken. (We went with the beef).) We started with the humus which could easily be enough for four people. Absolutely loved Truva Turkish Kitchen in Charlotte, NC 9213 Baybrook Ln, Charlotte! The Turkish coffee was incredible — rich, strong, and perfectly brewed. The mixed meat platter was the highlight of our meal — generous portions of tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned meats, served with fluffy rice, fresh vegetables, and tasty sauces. I was here 3 days ago with my wife they obviously messed up my order 7 times! Absolutely disappointed, I saw the waitress she was playing video games on her phone unacceptable and I regret even stepping foot there, she did not deserve a tip, the only tip they deserve is to quit working there and how they should be better at customer service.
