I started working out at The Fitness Studio in Piper Glen (owned & managed by the amazing Jacqueline Hawkins) well over a year ago. Was interested in building my strength back up after being down & out with a back injury for more than a year. I was on the lookout for a knowledgeable personal trainer to guide/assist me on this journey for I was inexperienced in this realm. I quickly learned that The Fitness Studio is more than just a gym. It is a community of qualified trainers that all work together for your best interest. They offer counseling in nutrition as well as a Body Maintenance modality (PNF Stretching & Fascia Bodywork) with the talented Chad Schlosser. Most recently I have been working with Caleb. His approach is to start with an assessment of where you are physically, and he takes the time to discuss your health goals with you. After this, Caleb puts together a program that specifically focuses on the areas you most need to improve upon. I've been working with Chad for several weeks. I chose him because of his expertise, credentials, and his 20+ years of experience. I am 50+ so I wanted to make sure the person I worked with understood the difference between a 30 year old body and a 50+ one, but would give me the result of looking and feeling like I was back there again!
