Family House Of Pizza & Seafood Charlton — Restaurant in Charlton

Hi family ordered from here on our way home from my family's lake house. I pass by this restaurant every time I visit my family but in the past 40 years, I had never stopped. My two young boys and their dad were traveling on a Saturday night home from the lake. We were all hungry but unsure of where to stop for food until my husband remembered this place. I used Google maps to find the menu and phone number, and called in an order for small pizza a salad with chicken, and chicken tenders for my kids. When we arrived My husband asked which pizza place I had ordered from since there was two right next to each other. He had assumed that I had called the place next door with the red and white awnings and he seemed slightly upset that I had ordered from the "older"looking place. That changed as soon as we got the food and he was happy that I mistakenly ordered from here We were told The food would be ready in about 20 minutes, but arrived 10 minutes early. The staff noticed we were there early and were able to get our food within 5 minutes or so. Unfortunately we had to eat in the car but the food was great! The salad was huge and the grilled chicken was tasty. My kids loved the chicken tenders and fries. The pizza was good, although if I had to choose one thing to improve, the sauce was a little too sweet for my taste. I'm just being picky though and overall I would certainly visit here again! I even sent my family a text telling them that they should try some food from here if they were ever driving through. We will certainly order...

They switched the cheese to that ultra cheap plasticky stuff that slides right off the slice in one huge clump when you pick it up. Can't remember the last time I saw a pizza with that much grease; was so greasy the crust was undercooked/soggy and not crunchy like it normally is with this Greek style. Also leaked through the bottom of the box. DiGiorno's in the microwave is actually a better pizza.

Yes, times are tough everywhere and would have been fine with raising the prices of the pizza but the ultra cheap mozz is just nasty and imo an insult to long standing customers. We're not stupid so don't treat us like we are.

Won't be coming back here anytime soon unless it's changed back. Just go to Charlton house of pizza which is the same exact thing and what Family house used to be - and it's right next door.

Edit: Apparently owners changed and quite clear they do not know how to run a successful food business. Makes sense the food changed as well but unfortunately to the major downside. Change your standards back to what it...

Order from here atleast 1 time every week. Last week we ordered a lg bacon and hamburger pizza....like we do with every order we get there. When it came it was a sausage pizza we called and told them they told us our next pizza would be free. So we call to order this week like we do every week and tell them about the free pizza we were promised. The food comes here and they try and charge us for the pizza. So we call let them know and they are extremely rude and wont give us our free pizza say they have no record of it. Like really why am I going to lie about a $15 pizza when I order from this same place every single week. Bad business from a place I once thought so highly of even after they messed our order up the first time we gave them little issues and were like that's cool they were easy to deal with, but when it came time to get our free pizza in lieu of the messed up one of course they made it an issue. It really sucks because I loved their food now where do I go??? I've spent thousands there and they are worried about...
