While driving through the backroads near Pittsburgh, we ended up in Westland on County Road 519, where we found a farm stand. We grabbed a couple of sandwiches and some cookies. The stand offers several options of sandwiches, pies, cookies, and ice cream. We had the Patsy (Pastrami) and Italian sandwiches. There was no skimping on the portions of meat in the sandwiches. The cookies were delicious. We sat under some very large oak trees for some shade. It was a fun country drive, a very relaxing stop and an enjoyable lunch.

My family & I stumbled upon Shilling Hill Farm Stand today on our way home from Fishing! No expectations, just trying to fill our bellies…. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! First was the trouble of picking which sandwich and which desert. Haha after eating our picks, we are now left wanting to try everything on the menu! We can’t wait to come back. Pie was delicious, cookies were delicious, sandwiches & lemonade… just as great!!

The best pastrami, brisket, and bacon I have ever had (topped Carnegie Deli). Huge sandwiches. Fresh. And awesome, friendly service. The Dutch apple pie is amazing also! If you are on 519 heading out of Houston to Hickory or vice versa, make the stop there! You won't regret it.

Wow. Never have I ever...felt so violated by a food purchase. Daily Special Angus Steak, posted as if sides were included. I skipped the bun so they rang it as an entree. To my surprise it consisted of a container with 2.5 slices (just north of) steakum type servings. I went back and the window to confirm the order was correct. As a sandwich it was $10.80; they generously deducted 80 cents for the bun. With nothing more to lose at this point, I paid another $7 for 2 sides. On a good note, my husband purchased a Chef Salad that was beautiful and generously proportioned. Still a 1 for me on today's...

Usually I have no complaints and we love the food and everyone has a bad day now and again, but this is time our experience with pumpkin pies were absolutely terrible both of them! It was like they had been frozen and they were nothing but straight mushy mush watery didn’t taste like pumpkin at all, and barely had any crust. It definitely may Deter me from getting any more pies from them, especially during the...
