Waffle House — Restaurant in Chattanooga

I love Waffle House,today when me and family went for breakfast they were busy as usual. When we arrived no one ahead of us waiting to be seated, one table was ready to be cleared and cleaned so we could be seated. A young man took it upon him self after seeing us waiting for about 10-15 minutes to clear the table as this was not his station, he knows the value of team work.. I thanked him , he took our drink order gave us our silver wear and told us he was not our server. Now I saw the server who worked this station when we arrive and she made no effort what so ever to clean table for us to be seated. When our server came to take our order I saw that her Name was Lulu. Lulu took our order. My husband and I were having a private conversation about how we felt that the waffle by the Texas road seemed to have better service. Lulu listening to our private conversation took it upon herself to ask me if I was ok with waiting, she said she heard us say something about the other Waffle House . I said sure no problem we can wait. After I thought about it, it was not her place to comment on our private conversation.But Lulu made me feel like she wanted me to leave when she asked me more or less if I had a problem. She never said but her look and her whole demeanor was you can go somewhere else and we did we told her that’s ok and we left. Went to this location at 1am in the morning after touching down in Chattanooga for a family emergency and decided to eat breakfast with my aunt.The service was horrible from the waitress to the food.I had frequented this location many times before and the service was superb,and the food was awesome.This time;the totally opposite.I asked for scrambled eggs,cheese,grits with cheese,wheat toast,and hash browns.I received two eggs instead of three,no cheese,grits with no cheese,and semi warm,white bread instead of wheat,and on top of this;the assine attitude of the waitress.I had inquired about turkey bacon or turkey sausage,and she quickly got on the defensive saying “your’re down south,we don’t serve that hear,only pork”,as if she was pissed that I simply inquired about it.After half eating the meal,I left her just enough of a tip for bus fare,simply because she didn’t deserve more,and with her assine attitude,I pray she’s not working there if and when I come back in town.Unbeknownst to her,I was born and raised in that city and occasionally fly in and out of there from time to time.While I do recommend this location,I only recommend this location from 6am until 3 or 4pm. After placing order, which was all requested at same time, one plate of food brought to my husband, but had to wait several minutes for a waffle. Now I'm not a cook, but it shouldn't take over 5 minutes for a simple waffle. Also, no one wants to start eating part of their meal, then eat the rest later, by itself. This is poor level of service, as to having all food prepared at same time!!! Both of our bacon orders sat on cooking counter and was cold when it was served, without any concern as to the fact that this is piss-poor service!!! . I truly understand why some people become angry enough to yell at cooking staff. My husband was so upset, he just asked for to go containers and calmly waited for me to finish eating. When he complained to our waitress, before asking for to go containers, he was told the waffle makers don't always work right. Well, do you know what that means, get rid of non-working items and buy new!!! I kept telling my husband to not get angry, we just know not to go to Shallowford Rd location ever and I plan to tell everyone I know to never go there.
