Thai Jasmine(Udomsuk Thai Kitchen) — Restaurant in Chelmsford

We visited today with family. It was a treat from me for my family and there was a booth empty which needed almost no clean up. The restaurant manager asked us to sit at a table which was very closed to the door step. When I requested "Can you provide us that booth" . She said "No I can not , I am busy" . In my view if there is any shortage in staff she could politely tell us . "Can you manage to sit here as I am the only person today ?" This is hospitality industry and we go to a restaurant with family to relax and enjoy good food with good atmosphere. We ordered Appetizer , soup and main course and told her not to bring the main course immediately . But to our surprise she brought everything at the same time . And the table was not big enough to hold all the dishes at a time. The food quality was okay . But the taste of treatment was the worst. Luckily we have many more options around the city. I would be at this place weekly, literally, every week, sometimes twice a week. It slowly started going downhill over the years. After new ownership took place in January, I went there once and swore i wouldn't go back, the food was horrible. Then I read some comments in my local town groups saying the food was great and so good etc. I decided to try again today, I got my usual Shrimp green curry, and once again extremely disappointing, the meal was more like a soup than anything, there was very minimal vegetable and shrimp and there wasn't even an extra added appetizer to go with it. This cost me almost $22.00; you would think an order of Spring rolls, or something would be added to this mess. I have never left a bad review here and i almost feel bad. On a side note, the people and service there are very friendly and nice to deal with, but the food is a no for me, a place that I have been going to for over 15 years now has come to an end....

I've become a regular at Thai Jasmine and for good reason. Excellent flavorful food. Savory noodle dishes in sweet and spicy sauces. There are a few Thai restaurants in Chelmsford and they are all good, but Thai Jasmine just had this certain I-don't-know-what about it that makes me choose it over the others. The folks that run it are super friendly, good people that reinforce my decision to spend my money there. Sometimes they will throw in a little freebie like thai rolls in our weekly take out order for being repeat customers which is awesome. They also offer a small rewards program where for every x amount of dollars your spend, you get a discount on your next order which is very generous on their part.
