This was the absolute worst Sonic we have ever been too. Stopped by to get a quick bite to eat on our way through as we are a couple hours from home and was less than impressed. Girl who took our order had to ask us what stall we were on to even take our order, the tone in her voice very quickly told us she does not enjoy where she works. There was us and two other cars at stalls and they had two people go through drive while we were there. It took 20 minutes to get three junior burgers, two burritos, two small fries, a medium cheese tot and a large cheese fry.
I called the store and as I was calling our food was finally coming out. I expressed my frustration with the long wait time (I have carhopped at a Sonic) and was met with a hateful attitude with an excuse of “we got slammed”. (All stalls are on one side on the building and we watched the two cars come through drive).
Before leaving we realized we didn’t even get all of our food so I went in. Our other bag was just sitting on the counter. I won’t lie, I did make a comment about if it was going to take 20 minutes to get our food they could at least make sure we got all of it.
I again was met with the “we got slammed”.
What I noticed while in there was the manager (a gentleman) taking an order, the one carhop standing there doing nothing and the cook walking up from the back.
If they truly were “slammed” then I would have accepted “we are understaffed, we do apologize”. I would have been understanding, but to be met with the attitude immediately and tone at the very beginning while ordering was awful.
I’ve worked in customer service roles for many years, I know it’s not easy. But if you are that miserable, maybe look elsewhere for employment.

She tried to order but the music was so loud they didn't hear her and kept telling her to speak up. She was having to yell and couldn't hear them well either. Finally the lady came out to take her order and it took about six tries for the lady to even understand because she kept saying it back wrong to my mother. I guess maybe this lady is in need of basic skills. Then when she brought the order, fries were missing. When my mother pointed it out, the lady argued and was rude. My mother pointed out that they got the order wrong (after six tries). So the manager came out and wrote it down. Then when the lady finally brought out the missing fries, she was rude and refused to give them to my mom until she paid for them. So my mom did. When she got home (with cold food by that point) she called to complain. The lady laughed at my mom and hung up on her. It was so rude. Tonight I got a burger with an onion ring and ketchup, barely any lettuce and about 4 pieces of onion. Tried to call and not answering. This is the only Sonic that seems to be unable to handle a simple order. Not to mention fries were cold.
