Today I encountered the rudest employee ever at this Wendy’s. From the moment I ordered the meal her response was “DRINK!”. Upon driving up to the window she attempted to hand me two soft drinks with one hand. I asked her if she could hand to me one at a time. I would have dropped them. She rudely rolled her eyes, handed me the drinks and said pull up, they would bring our food out. It was obvious she just wanted to delay me and my family. There was one truck behind us and it was a small order. To avoid conflict I complied. My wife stepped in and immediately received the food. No receipt. My family and I stop here for breakfast and sometimes lunch on our weekly trips to NC. Normally we have positive experiences. I understand there is a problem with shortage of employees. This has resulted in hiring people that should not be in customer service. This person is demonstrated hateful behavior. Be mindful of this as you stop here. This happened 9/24/23...

She even hung up on me today. I was giving a 2 hrs courtesy order to give them plenty of time. Also, the order was going to be the specials that they offer. Today was not the first time she has REFUSED our business. And I'm talking maybe 5 orders. When there is more than 2, I always call so as not to turn up and order several without some warning. One time we were even told no they didn't want our order because DHEC was coming to inspect and they had to clean. Well guess what lady, if you don't have business, you don't have a job and there would also be no need for DHEC. There are plenty of other places that would appreciate the business.
