Bono Pizza — Restaurant in Chestnuthill Township

Not a good experience. Went because ppl rave about this place. Pretty sure we're one and done. The plain pizza was OK. Decent taste bit nothing really stand out from the flavor. Had extra cheese so I'd be kinda scared to see what a normal would be since there wasn't much. The Hawaiian pizza we got was bad. Crust was overly thick and floppy. More chewy then anything. Topping and cheese stopped a decent distance from the crust so you just had bites of sauce and dough before the crust. Got a side of fries for my 4yo who loves fries. Won't touch them. Flavorless and soggy. Seasoned and refried them to atleast make them edible. My hunt for a good pizza in this...

While there are alot of pizza choices in the area, Bono's is one of the BEST choices. The pizza is delicious. The carryout special 2 pies & 2 liter for $18.99 or 1pie, wings & 2 liter $19.99 can't be best. Their sandwich & sides are extremely well priced. The pizza isn't too thin, sauce is perfect, & cheese is a higher quality. The sandwiches are nice sized (hard to believe from the prices) Family owned. Request happily fulfilled. Travel over 30minutes passing by 20 other pizza places but will give Bono's my business....

Let me start by saying I LOVE BONO PIZZA!!! Everything they serve is soooooo good! You can eat in or take out. But my FAVORITE pizza is their beautifully handcrafted white pizza! Perfect, chewy dough and lots of cheese! Just mouthwatering! And their pizza sauce is so tasty we always ask for a bit of extra sauce on our pepperoni pizza. OH! Dont forget their garlic knots! Hot, chewy, delicious dough with their EXCELLENT garlic butter! Love this place and all the pleasant folks...
