PROOF 192 Whiskey Bar & Craft Cocktails — Restaurant in Chicago Precinct

Will never go to this location again! -openly heckled for wearing a mask on our way in -waitress was openly uncomfortable with a small party, but alone and couldn't do anything -said party made a point to turn off the TV my husband was obviously trying to watch -we were stared at constantly by said party -by the way a gentlemen in the party was moving and directing things we think he may have been the owner -we kept to ourselves in a corner and were polite to our waitress, but the party cheered as we left as if we had done something wrong

All this basically because we were cautious and wore masks... also the TV my husband was watching and they complained about was showing news updates on the Breona Tyler murder. Just an awful group of people, and they seemed very set in where they were, so we will never be going to this location again. Plan to try the second location though since my drink was good. Its the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars and not 1.

Let me say that if you want to get the most out of any spirit Joel and his team will ensure your experience is informative, relaxed, and welcoming. I have had the pleasure of finding the first location in Midtown Omaha back in 2017 and I’m so happy to see them expand to Elkhorn. Both locations have a cozy atmosphere that feels like an extension of home. Rare bourbons and whiskeys make their way to you and are reasonable I priced priced. Please do yourself a favor if you are curious about what goes into what you are sipping on and walk away with an appreciation for the artisan craftsmanship behind it all. Heck your pallet may expand! I love bourbon and absolutely loved a Red Breast Single Barrel Irish Whiskey now that I have been introduced to it! Thanks Proof 192 for serving...

Been going to Proof in midtown for awhile before this location opened however this one happens to be right down the street. Still the best service and drinks and selection in town. Have had a lot of different whiskeys that I'll never be able to find in store as well as their selection of their own created craft cocktails. My knowledge of whiskey has gone up tremendously and now I know what I'm doing when I go to the grocery store or another bar. Even if you want something off the menu the bartenders can make you whatever you're in the mood for including their own creations. There's really no other bar like...
