Whataburger — Restaurant in Chickasaw

Whataburger in Chickasaw is easily in my opinion one of the best and last short order drive-thrus in Mobile. Yes, the prices have gone up with inflation. As has everything else, but their quality has been sacrificed very little. They still have a dairy truck come so they can make fresh biscuits every morning with REAL eggs. Not the fake powdered stuff that were told to believe are eggs LOL. If you appreciate old-fashioned food at a decent price and a great atmosphere I highly suggest stopping in. Edit: Was a great place, but they just tried to charge me extra for sauce that is clearly free on the app.I don't even know how they would charge me seeing as how the burger was already paid for on the app. I guess they wanted to pocket a Lil extra cash. It wasn't that best in fact it burger was one of the worst I have had to spend my money on. First the female taking the order couldn't get it straight. Then the burgers (4 to be exact) took entirely too long. Three females were taking money, taking orders and delivered the bags to take home. I had watched your ad on the tv (have never ate there before or anything from there) and you can image my surprise when I opened my Sweet and Spicy sandwich. The bun we burnt on the inside, everything was all stuck together, so the sandwich as not made in the last couple hours. The sauce was all laying in the part of the bun that was burnt the worse and the merger but of bacon was in the sauce, not over the entire bun. Cheese and meat patties could not be separated. I love this Whataburger. Always great! Some reviews mentioned people deciding to take breaks and long waiting times. Ppl have to keep in mind that breaks are usually scheduled by the manager, the employee doesn't just decide to take a break. And after working a certain amount of time, workers must take a break whether they want to or not. And one lady said she waited 25 minutes. If it was on a Wednesday afternoon when she stopped by, they have buy one get one, and they most likely had ran out of meat. Or they may have been short of staff. I work at a place similar to this and I just wish ppl would take these things into consideration. I live 3 minutes from this location and I love it. Keep up...
