Everything looked so perfect. Old fishing village vibes, dunes, fishing boats, lobster traps, and several fish markets along the piers. I was imagining $7/lb Atlantic cod, $5/lb lobster and $20 lobster roll stuffed with huge portions of lobster meats. Well, let me admit I was wrong.

Even though I couldn’t complain anything about the taste (it was quite delicious) I was shocked by how small was that $29 lobster roll was. Contracting to many previous reviews here, this place is perhaps a tourist trap. I wouldn’t be surprised if it is and the owner is entitled to maximize his/her profit of course. Perhaps, the line cook was having a bad day and someone - that would be me - walked in 10 minutes before closing and unappreciatively prepared the lobster roll.

It was quite tasty so I can’t advise you against patronizing this market, but you may want to ‘check out’ other people’s lobster roll before placing an order if small portioned lobster roll could...

My wife and I spent a weekend on Martha's Vineyard for our 25th wedding anniversary. We booked a van tour and our tour guide took us here for lunch. It is located right next to Larsen's FIsh market, which is a big draw on the island. We however went to Menemsha. Our tour guide said it was just as good, just as fresh, but more reasonable in price. My wife and I got some of the lobster bisque and one of the hot lobster rolls. I am not exaggerating when I tell you it was some of the best food I have EVER HAD! The soup was delicious and the lobster roll had the best lobster I have ever had. PLEASE do not miss this place. If you are looking for wonderful seafood, this...

Stopped by here for some takeout and was seriously impressed! The lobster roll was packed with fresh, tender lobster meat on a perfectly toasted bun. The clam chowder was creamy with a rich flavor. The fresh lobster bisque was buttery, and brimming with that sweet lobster taste. Honestly, I couldn’t pick a favorite—they were all that good! On top of the great food, the people working there were super friendly and helpful. It’s always a bonus when the service matches the quality of the meal. Definitely looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu! Highly recommend for anyone craving...

This is the best fish market on the island. Everything is fresh, especially the lobsters, any size you want. Then there are prepared and precooked items as well as made to order plates. Prices are better too. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. That gave us a quick primer on what types of lobsters to order, the best season and what to look for to get the best lobster. The smoke bluefish pate is excellent with roasted bread. The lobster fresh and just. The oysters are the freshest we've tasted, large, very juicy and delicious. The price is unbeatable. They are locally caught from Edgartown so don't miss them.

The inability to build or alter this area in any substantial way was a brilliant move. I love this area. Great place to get excellent seafood. Nothing fancy but all quality. True New England. Recommend going out back, byob, and sit by the water, on old crates and eat your oysters or have clam chowder. If that doesn't suit you, got to the beach a couple of hundred feet away or hang in your car and enjoy the view. Not for the prissy but there are plenty of those places to cater to that on the island.
