The food is your typical American diner food, but you get more food than you could ever hope to have. I don't think anyone I have ever been with has ever finished their food here, which is impressive because I come with a lot of people that eat a ton of food. If you don't like greasy American food, don't bother with this food. You'll probably walk out feeling disgusting, but you'll at least be happy.

Their breakfast is especially good; I'm normally not a huge fan of biscuits and gravy at restaurants just because I feel like their gravy isn't great, but here it is amazing. As an added benefit, you can get breakfast all day long.

The waitresses here are so friendly. Most of them are older, but I was served by one younger waitress who was incredibly friendly. Their service is literally exactly what I expect from a diner like this. I have literally no complaints about any of the staff here.

It's pretty clean in here. I mean it looks a little divey, but that's just part of the charms of the restaurant. It seems like a true American diner; the walls are regaled with Americana artwork. Yet unlike other diners that strive for a 1950's, overtly American aesthetic, this restaurant feels completely authentic.

Overall, I'd highly recommend this restaurant if you want greasy, amazing diner food. It beats out its corporate competition in every way imaginable...

If you are an out of towner, don't come here. For an airport cafe, there is no view of flight operations. The wait staff clearly cares about their "regulars" and not others. While waiting for the rest of our party to arrive, we were told to wait outside...it was over 100°. After being seated, another split party arrived and they were seated without being told to wait outside. We asked to be seated in an open section that was 10° cooler than where we eventually sat. We were told they were closing down the section, although it wasn't even noon yet. Place kept being filled up and many regulars were seated in the "closed" cooler area. Although they advertise a wide-assortment of pies, 15 to be exact on their white board, only 3 were available. How about updating the board? Ordered a slice of blueberry crisp that took over 10 minutes to arrive even though our waitress was not busy and just standing around..crisp was dry and marginal tasting. Main meal was a burger, requested beef cooked well-done, received medium-rare and undercooked. Remainder of meal was ok but not excellent. Given terrible service, I would not ever go back. Too many other small businesses are available and willing to do their best to get and keep new customers with exceptional service and quality meals at an affordable price. Why go here and get subjected...

If you've never been here don't expect fast service, people rave about the food, but to me it's okay. Some staff friendly, some not so good. Went with 2 other people, I told waitress I was sharing a Patty melt with co worker so when she brings our meal it's on 2 separate plates which I thought was nice so I thanked her, I was disappointed that French fries were few but I guess because we split so that was okay. So we get the bill and notice the waitress charged us $1.00 for the spilt of Food, now I realize it's only a dollar but the waitress failed to inform us of charge, so when I brought it to the attention of hostess or person at register she said that's normal to charge, I said I understand that some restaurants do charge that's not the issue the issue is the waitress failed to inform us of charge! So waitress is walking by and hears me, so her justification for charge was you got more fries than you would have on a single plate, I said we didn't if you put the fried together it's the same amt. The hostess apologized and said that's policy, I said again I understand, but your waitress did not inform us. No happy with the responses we received and for that I gave them...

My friend and I were looking for a convenient place to meet halfway for a morning coffee and thought we'd try this interesting location. With the extensive construction along the main road, it was not the easiest to get to, but the construction signage helped. It felt like a place regulars know about and has a lot of history. It did smell like cigarette smoke as soon as you walked in, although I could not see anyone smoking. The first server who brought our coffee and tea was not particularly friendly or helpful. Our waitress Roxanne was helpful and warm and helped me easily find what I could enjoy from their menu. The portions were generous and our food was served quickly. I have many dietary restrictions due to health reasons so it is not always easy for me to meet for a meal with friends. Although there weren't many options available for me, I enjoyed the experience and lively atmosphere. My friend definitely enjoyed her cinnamon roll and took some pie to go.

My first time to this well-established well known restaurant that honors the American veteran. I had heard of Flo's for many years when my first wife's parents often visited. Being a pilot we thought we'd stop in at Chino airport and ask how to get to Flo's, wasn't too long a walk and definitely the experience was worth it. A true bit of Americana. I had a hamburger and it was outstanding obviously high quality meat and ingredients went into it. My friend from Switzerland had to try the biscuits and gravy and it was kind of funny because he finished the whole thing and then could hardly walk afterwards cuz he was so full. Lol. This sort of restaurant is very American. Staffers incredibly loving and friendly. It's a bit rundown and in need of an upgrade but perhaps that would ruin everything, so I say go there for the experience because places like these are becoming more rare.

This cafe is more of a diner, complete with advertisements on the tables, countertop dining (there are plenty of tables) and a small pie/dessert display case. My husband had the country-fried steak with over-easy eggs, hash browns and biscuits & gravy. I ordered a the veggie omelet, hash browns and biscuits & gravy. The portions were large. The food was really good and there wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The biscuits & gravy were the star of the show. We’re from TX and it’s hard to find decent pepper gravy but they nailed it. I ate some of the country-fried steak but we were too full to finish it. We bought a slice of millionaire pie and boysenberry pie for later. I’d suggest getting there before 9:00 if you don’t want to wait. Check out this little gem if you haven’t already!
