Main Street Pizza - Harvey — Restaurant in Chocolay Township

This is an update good and disappointing, they seem to have corrected the previous problem and their pizza has once again reigned surpreme in flavor! *they still need to learn how to cut a pizza though so when you get it home you don't have to cut the crust that they always ignore. Sadly though during this time of covid19 and possibility of virus transfer they have failed. At least one worker did but no one else corrected him either. I pulled up to pick up my pizza the window is open and I sit there watch a young man with a mask barely covering his mouth but NOT his nose and NO GLOVES on with 3 pizzas right in front of him in boxes sitting open, and he sorta stabs the first pizza and rolls the wheel across takkng his time and its obvious he is in no hurry and appears he doesn't even want to be there. The 2nd pizza looks like it might be ours and soon he moves on to that pizza repeating the jab/slice of the pizza cutter, eventually he moves onto the 3rd. Meanwhile each box is still wide open on the counter. With him leaning over the pizza so his nose air is breathing down onto the pizza(normally not a problem but with covid in the air it is) he then closes the first box and puts it ontop of the oven to keep it warm and a diff. Guy comes to our window and asks my name, turns around and sure enough our pizza was the 2nd one as he was just about to put it on the warmer. I can immediately. Tell the pizza isn't hot but kinda warm. (Sat out to long) but do to circumstances i'll not mention I stopped saying what I was going to say and accepted the pizza and when we got it home (4 miles away so a 5 min drive) we get it home and its no longer even classified as warm so we have to microwave our fresh dinner. Mainstream pizza- please rotate the person around the food and ensure that person is wearing a mask properly, and wear some gloves when your handling our food. And please close the lids on the boxes before and after to retain some of the heat.

• INPORTANT NOTE TO ALL: Main street pizza has a points system! I was unaware of this for 5 years! I had even asked an employee once if they has some sort of program or punch card to earn a free or discounted pizza and was told no. Until one day a young man asked me if I wanted to use my points and I was like what? What points? And it was explained to me and Instead of paying $18 for my pizza I only had to pay $4. +change for my pizza! So if your unaware of the point system asked about it. All you have to say is "I'd like to use my points toward this pizza".

This was hard to grade. Main street used to be the best pizza around, hands down! but the last few times we have been let down 😞. their once quality pizza in crust, & flavor has been making a run straight down hill. Maybe we just got unlucky the last few times idk but we will think twice before we order from them again. They seem to have finally gotten the cutting down! And the end crust is now cut through. But the taste? Has changed and its not just me saying this. Its 2 other people, our crust has been super thin and hard, and yesterday the crust tasted soggy kinds like it wasn't cooked through or they put liquid on the pizza from olives or something. The bottom was crunchy yes but the top under the veggies & meat just tasted doughy felt squishy/soggy. I give it a 4 star because of their history of quality pizza and in hopes this is just due to new employees who don't know what to do or just are not listening. And taste? Maybe aomeone ordered the wrong sauce? Or it lacked spice idk it...

Extremely disappointed in main Street pizza Harvey,MI location. Today I called to put in an order. I was put on hold, then apparently forgotten about. I sat there on the phone listening to the workers taking other orders. Half hour later still on hold I walked in the restaurant, finally get service and explain the situation. No srry or let me do something to correct the issue or coupon nothing. They just made us pay upfront and then was told it's be 30mins. Workers were standing around giving me attitude! We ordered there, and it was all messed up it one way or another. Our pizza was burnt then are, medium pizza was also burnt. The nachos had olives all over, when wr ordered for none. Also the salad was covered in tomatoes, which we also didn't want. Then our sub was half burnt too. All of the things we didn't want were on the bill, so that pretty much means they saw iy and just did it anyway. I will never order there again it was really such a waste of nearly 50 dollars. VERY...
