Bar 29 — Restaurant in Cincinnati

Latest update to my post from Last week. So I never received a call back from the owner, after leaving my food and a note the previous day, with the bar maid Kendra. The following day I called (bc no one called me) and spoke to Keisha who reported she did not see anything left for a manager. After explaining the situation to her, she stated she would reach out to the manager to see what could be done. If you remember, the issue was I ordered shrimp alfredo, however the shrimp in the photos and in written advertisement mentioned nothing about the tiny sized salad shrimp that was used for a substitution. I do not like this shrimp and asked to exchange or receive a refund (never even eating the food). Anyway, Keisha said she would call me back by 6pm that day and if I did not hear from her, to call back. Sadly, I had to call back again (around 7:30pm); a female barmaid told me that Keisha was out, but she told her to tell me there was nothing they could do because, it was my choice to leave my food. I wish ppl would learn customer service, which this is an example of what not to do. Unfortunately, I will not be back and will not promote this establishment any further. Its unfortunate that they couldnt have just provided me with another meal or refunded...

I came here for the first time with my sister yesterday and we will be back’. Lil bartender baby was cute and had exceptional service skills!!

I had salmon Alfredo it was perfect as was the garlic toast . My sister had the same thing plus shrimp and the shrimp ruined her whole meal. I knew it would that’s why I opted out of adding shrimp.

The shrimp for Alfredo should be grilled or seared. They serve was appears to be raw shrimp that has been heated.

I’m giving 4 stars because the food is delicious, service was great and the place was clean. I’d just recommend that you don’t get the shrimp Alfredo. I also recommend they remove it from the menu (it’s really that bad) even the appearance of the shrimp will make you not want to eat the dish. If I hadn’t had the same thing she may have never even tasted the plate. But since I did and she knew it was good pasta she picked the shrimp off!

Went for a a drink and food. Ordered the shrimp Alfredo, what’s unknown is that it’s tiny tiny shrimp that usually come on a salad and not the shrimp expected. As such, I asked for an exchange and wanted some salmon fries. The barmaid that was working on4.19.21 stated I could not exchange it or get a refund bc the boss wasn’t there. Now I’m sure if she really wanted to reach the boss (if it were her issue) she could have attempted but she did not and stated in his absence there was nothing she could do, so I left the already paid for food at the desk with a note concerning the issue requesting a call bk from the boss. This was about 630pm so I’ll keep you posted but as of 4.20.21 at the time of this post, nothing has been resolved and I have not received a call back yet???? I typically like their food and this place but that is not good customer service, so I won’t be back unless handled...
