Muddy Mike's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Cisco

Before I bore you with this review! Understand, I do not wish for any compensation from this restaurant…

We made reservations for 10 people after my granddaughters dance recital, when we arrived we were immediately seated we noticed the bar area had several people but the main dining area was half full understandably, waited about 10-15 minutes on our drinks but after several drinks were wrong and straightened out we never got menus, we got up went to the bar and got menus for the table about 20 minutes later the waitress comes back to take our order and we ordered appetizers to come out first. They came out in about 20 minutes and the waitress came back about every 15-20 minutes to refill glasses, each refill at least one drink was wrong and that person had to wait until the next round of drinks 15-20 minutes after 2hrs had gone by we asked about our food and the response each time was the kitchen is backed up because of the Bar/football game! Although we had two other couples come and go beside us! But, we did notice on both tables only one slice of pizza was missing from the tray… Hummm! Finally check out and we can chalk this one up as them having a bad night! Waitress brings back my check after another long wait, apologies that I ran your card on someone else’s ticket but I caught it and corrected it… So we say thank you and leave! And It gets worse… now keep in mind 10 people in our party, my son who ate the chicken sandwich awoke 2hrs. later with it coming out both ends and my wife who ate about a third of a chicken sandwich woke up this morning feeling terrible and throwing up! We also find out from friends that were there around the same time that he ate the chicken sandwich and was sick as well!

Ok, so I now think maybe I should call and make them aware of the situation! A woman answers the phone and I ask to speak with the manager immediately she takes concern and needs to know what to tell the manager I am calling about so I wait a bit and another woman comes on to the phone and I explain the above statements. She is more worried about figuring out who waited on us and keeps assuring me that all food gets temp checked before it leaves the kitchen! I after the exhausting conversation tell her Thank you and have a good day…

I will NEVER be back. I have been to muddy mikes 3 times and there is always a problem. We had a big group and the waitress kept making rude comments. Someone in our group asked about when her appetizer Would be (30min) and her response was “they will bring it’s when it’s ready” in a snappy rude way. i understand you can’t control that but there is a way to talk to people and that was not it. She made several rude comments and commented on the high price of one persons bill. One persons fried pickles were so burnt we could hardly bit into them, another person didn’t even get to eat with the table because the waitress said her order didnt get put in. Plus with a big group gratuity is added which is fine i understand that but your gonna add gratuity and charge 30 cents for a lemon in a water and 50 cents for each cup of ranch with a pizza. Like I get it it’s only 30 cents but if I’m paying 18 dollars for a pizza I feel like I should get some ranch with it. I understand with a bunch of college kids you think you won’t get a tip because of our age but that gives u no right to treat us like that we are paying for a service just like everyone else. And I just know she’s gonna think she was right because you know what we didn’t tip because gratuity was added and the way we were treated. I don’t mind tipping big when I go out to eat I plan on it because that’s how it should be but not when the service is that bad. We usually love muddy mikes, and actually go through quite frequently and spend $150+ each time. Tonight, we brought a party of 6 to our favorite restaurant and everyone was let down including us.

Our waitress couldn’t get her order tablet to work, so instead of writing it down she attempted to remember our orders. She forgot my mom’s whole meal, and it didn’t come out until after we had all finished our food. She also ordered the wrong thing for one of our members that wanted chicken fried steak, instead she got chicken fried chicken. When we asked for the right meal, the waitress was clearly irritated and didn’t want to provide us the correct meal.

Surprisingly, I’m still not done. She forgot to bring our steak sauce and big red which was asked for 5+ times. We also ordered chips + queso as an appetizer and she only brought us the hot sauce , once she finally came back to the table we asked her for the queso we didn’t receive and more chips. By the time, she came back with the chips, the queso had gotten hard and cold making it not edible. She also mis charged us on our bill, and tried to argue with us about it.

When we addressed the situation with the manager/or owner, he did nothing to help the situation and was very rude to us like her screws up were our fault. We did not appreciate being treated like this as paying customers.
