The Woods Bar and Grille — Restaurant in Citrus Park

After spending over $ 600 in 2 days i was bared. Beware if u are knew and dont know anyone. My first Ammendment right of freedom pf Speech was violated and not respected. I was told to leave after i tried to entervene with a caccasion man and a latin group. The latinas went up to another latin staff and complaimed sayimg i told them i had been around gangs ... Um!! Ok? My Grandfather was a World War 2 Veteran under General Patton in the same Tank Battalion, my Dad was a Marine, i have over 10 other family members who are all ex cambat solders, who sacraficed for our rights and to uphold the US Constitution. My first Ammendment right to " Freedom of Speech was violated" and they ganged up on me with there power and numbers. I am served the Community of Tampa and was highly decorated for my time as a volenteer during the Semonile Heights crises. Being awarded as a Tampa bay Guardian Angel , i am a trained mixed martial Artist, ex bodyquard , and athlete who always believes in peacemaking first. This is sn establishment that , will target you if you are knew , be wide as a seepant my friends, stay clear unless you are friends with staff , otherwise you could end up being a casualty and victom to Racism , Politics, and socialism. For an establishment that has so many Vegerans, i am appalled .. Staff are bullies and if one of there regulars do not like you, no matter how much money, repect, kindness, and generosty you show, all of thst will be highlighted being humilated and excorted out, and that might be the least that happens. I am a student that moved in tge area, who was simply just looking for a new place to go hang out and meet knew people. Unfortunately we live in perlous times of week minded people whos only strengh is the numbers they have over you, when working in a place together. I have been all over the US and have seen these type of establishments that are biost to the newcomer. Stay clear of this place, there are way to many other places to go , that will respect your money spent and appriciate you as a paying costomer, rather your knew or not. This is a place that will quickly gang up on you, if you have a disagreement with one of there staff or regulars. Go here at your own risk...

" Crash "Tampa bay...

I was not a customer except that I made the mistake of sitting on one of their outside benches. They have a "benches only for customers" tiny sign up high above the bench - hard to see because of the background being too busy with huge signs and pictures. A better place would be down below closer to the bench. First of all, I'm Latina and I look Latina. I was eating something that I had just picked up from the Chinese restaurant on same plaza. A black couple was sitting on the other bench (a woman and a man). I watched them walk-up and sit down and clearly not customers of Dagwood's. A white woman with long dark hair (looked like a size 14-16 in her 20's) came out to tell me that I couldn't sit there, that benches were only for Dagwood's customers with an open tab. Didn't say anything to the other people. I told her in a polite manner that I didn't see the sign and was almost done eating. She went inside to get another person (a Betty Davis eyes white woman with thinning hair - perhaps in her 30's). She told me to leave. The black folks were not told to leave. The dark hair woman, who's an employee of Dagwood's, started a conversation with the black lady and asked her to come inside cuz she wanted to buy her a beer. CLEARLY A CASE OF DISCRIMINATION, ...

We once visited this venue a few years ago, when it was dagwoods, and never returned due to how incredibly depressing and dirty the place was. Yesterday, we stopped to go into the liquor store next door to check to see if they had a particular product in stock, then walk to fresco y mas. We then noticed the decals on the windows and popped our heads in to discover the place had been completely transformed. If not for needing to go somewhere else in the plaza, we would have continued traveling 30m away just to go to a decent bar. Change the sign so people know you aren't a depressing booze filled drug den you go to score a bag of smack or pills! The previous business Dagwoods had a lot of negatives associated with it and I know we aren't the only people that have avoided visiting. We had no clue it was completely changed a couple years ago, otherwise we would have patronized much sooner. You have a great bartender, nice interior, and great food now. Let...
