Not my first choice of Italian bakery, but it is far closer. Generally it has always been my old man who come around here to buy some sweets for the house, and more generally me, but on this particular day I didn't feel like driving out to Clifton Park to my favorite bakery. It was closer to closing time when I stopped in but the selection was still pretty good, must have been a slower day for them, but I've had enough of their selection to know what I sought. A Raspberry Chinese Marble cookie, the Orange cookie (not it's official name, but what I call it), and some random smaller cookies. All in all I spent about $7 according to my statement, though I think there might have been a mistake as I clearly recall being told the cost came to something closer like $15. Weird. Anyways, the larger cookies were fantastic as usual, a slightly crunchy exterior, a slightly chewy interior, and complimented by the swirl of raspberry or sprinkles. The smaller cookies however all tasted stale and even one of them has a off putting flavor, a true shame since I started with those. So not a perfect visit, but still a much better choice of a bakery than Dunkin, though they have their competition with G’s Famous Lemon Cookies in downtown Amsterdam. Overall 4/5.

I haven’t been to Rositos in a while and after today I will not be going back. $6.25 for a tiny bacon egg and cheese sandwich is crazy! They also charge you 5 cents to bag your items! Not into supporting companies that nickel and dine their customers. Don’t buy the orange juice either they are now $2.65. Crazy! Very disappointed!

This bakery did an outstanding job on my wedding cake! I drew her a picture and she made it exactly as we wanted for our small wedding — complete with our requested funfetti inside! The cake was delicious and everyone really liked it. I will come back for other cake needs in the future!

It's a little disappointing to write this, but although this is normally my 'go-to' bakery for birthday cakes, etc, I think this will be the last time. I actually contacted another bakery in the area before calling Rosita's, but they were going on vacation. I called them because I was less than impressed with Rosita's the last time I got a cake from them. Anyway, I didn't have much choice if I was staying local so I called them 5 days ahead and ordered a very simple cake, round cake. Stopped in Friday afternoon, as I told them I would, to pick it up. Well, it wasn't ready - had not even been frosted/decorated yet. She said "Give me 5 minutes." I watched as they took the cake layers out of the walk-in cooler and then bring them where I could not see anything else. Long story short, they DID bring a decorated cake out within 5 minutes. I would have preferred different pastels but because I did only specify pastels in my phone call, I had to settle for the cotton candy pink that I got. Definitely not my favorite pastel. Anyway, later that evening had a piece - dry. Same issue I had last time I ordered. So, that apparently was not a one time thing. My cake again was dry and so very underwhelming. I will no longer be getting my...

This place is probably my favorite little bakery in the world. When I come up from Jersey to visit my friends in Amsterdam, I come here and buy hard rolls and tons of different pastries. Absolutely everything is phenomenal, the guava pastelillos, cinnamon twists, quesitos and hard rolls are my favorite. If you’re heading up to the Adirondacks, stop here along the way and pick up hard rolls for homemade breakfast sandwiches and grab some assorted pastries for your trip, you will not be...
